Excellence, across the board! Dr. Gallardo is very caring, insightful and medically knowledgeable. Her staff is well organized and cordial. Highly recommended!
God bless Dr thomas for his marvelous work in my life, I was diagnosed with HERPES last year and I was taking my medications, I wasn't satisfied I needed to get the HERPES out of my system, I searched for some possible cure for HERPES I saw a comment about Dr.thomas how he cured HERPES with his herbal medicine, I contacted him and he guided me. I asked for solutions, he started the remedy for my health, he sent me the medicine, I took the medicine as prescribed by him and two weeks later I was cured of HERPES, thank you Dr.thomas you can also email him via: drthomasherbalremedies@gmail.com or WhatsApp +2348155665915. once again i really appreciate doctor thomas
Dr. Gallardo is amazing! I really appreciated being able to do all my blood work in office without the hassle of going somewhere else. The staff is friendly and the office is brand new. My biggest issue is not being able to make appointments when sick or having non-emergency issues. I called to try and be seen and the receptionist said there wasn’t an appointment until December. It’s February. That’s insane! Even for existing patients. I was told I should go to urgent care if I need to be seen by a doctor. Isn’t that the point of having a primary care physician? To not have to go to urgent care? The receptionist said to find a new doctor if I didn’t want to wait for an appointment, so I did just that. Really disappointing.
Dr. Gallardo is the best! Such a pleasure having a PCP who treats you as an equal in your health care decisions. She is friendly, knowledgeable, and caring.
This rating has nothing to do with Dr Gallardo. In fact, I was referred to her by a good friend when I mentioned I wanted a new primary care female doctor. My frustration comes from the fact that when you look her up on UCLA Health website, it indicates she is accepting new patients. However, what it doesn't say is that to get an appointment you will have to wait up to a year!!!! The person I talked to, although polite, really had that "take or leave it attitude". She even disputed that my friend could have gotten an appointment sooner although she did not have to wait anything like that. As far as I'm concerned, that's really saying she does not accept new patients!! I even contacted UCLA Health directly and after listening to my complaint he indicated the office manager would contact me. Have not heard a thing. What does one have to do to get medical care???
They are overwhelmed. It’s very evident as patients have 2-3 hour appointments due to doctor delays. To be fair, the SLO patients/residents are needy and talk too much. Waste people and the doctors time.
Update: After some persistence I was able to schedule an appointment within a reasonable period of time. Perhaps the office did not initially realize that I am a current patient. ------------------- It pains me to write this review, as I really like the physician at UCLA San Luis Obispo Primary care. I am a current patient of Dr. Gallardo. However, when I tried to schedule an appointment to be examined for a condition that needed medical attention, I was called by her office and told that I could not see her for three months! Three months to see my primary care provider for a condition that needed attention! Then I was advised to consider going to urgent care. Perhaps this office is in the process of trying to hire an additional doctor or a nurse practitioner. I hope so. The current system is broken, and UCLA Health needs to fix this as soon as possible. It is not good for its reputation as a health care provider. The office at this time is providing primary non-care.
The staff is awesome and there portal is easy to use. The Dr. Listens and is caring.
Fax machine is number given as contact. No reviews because no patients are able to make appointments. Very sad, been this way for months
No nonsense friendly service with broad range of knowledge and ability to find correct specialists for your problems.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
