Windhorse offers a very different approach to mental health treatment, with great emphasis on community, authentic relationships, and healing environments to help those struggling with a wide range of mental health conditions, including those which are more acute. The slower, more mindful method helps individuals receiving treatment to restore their mind, body, and spirit at a more natural rhythm, effectively decreasing the fight/flight response while encouraging personal development within the context of a community. Each client receives the individually tailored support of a highly skilled team, whose aim is to create a therapeutic family-like environment. While mental health struggles can be incredibly isolating, Windhorse is dedicated to bringing individuals out of isolation and into a more intentional and meaningful way of life. Additionally, the dazzling beauty of the central coast offers individuals many opportunities to reconnect with the nature and a slower pace of living.

If you have a loved one with schizophrenia or a psychotic disorder, DO NOT TRUST this facility. They have no true understanding of the importance of medication for these individuals suffering from psychoses.
