She was so sweet and made me feel so comfortable that I don’t want to see anyone else.

This place doesn't care about helping people. My wife ran out of medication for her skin 3 weeks ago, she's been working on getting her referral renewed but in the mean time, was asking for samples to help care for her skin and every time she calls, they say they will ask the doctor and for three weeks straight they haven't asked the doctor. I hope one day these people that keep giving us the run around need something really bad and are unable to get it so they can feel how frustrating it is. My wife calls every day and they say they'll call back, and we wait until the end of the day and don't hear from them. Such poor communication, can't wait till we move and don't have to go to this place that doesn't care about their patients.

This place is terrible and customer service sucks. We've been calling for two straight weeks and every call they say they will get back to us and they never do. We've been waiting for a referral for dermatology medication that we have been on that has been working. We've run out and we asked for samples at least to get us bye and they keep giving us the run around. One day, these people are gonna need something and I hope they get the same treatment they e given us. Good thing it's not life threatening things that we need, otherwise we would've been dead already.

Dr. Venkat is very knowledgeable and a true professional. I really appreciated his compassion and patience with my beloved Father whom is 88yrs young! Thank you Arun and your staff!

Dr. Malia Sering and her staff are so caring and very knowledgeable in all kinds of skin issues. She has been my doctor for over 15 years and I won’t go to anyone else. The San Marcos location is very nice and not as busy as the Vista location. Her medical assistants also help me get my RX refills quickly and coordinate the patient assistance programs for me. I feel like a real person as I have developed a real relationship over the years and it makes a difference dealing with the “heartbreak of psoriasis” and navigating your way through different treatment options from biologics to oral medication’s and creams. It is really helpful to have someone in your corner because it can be frustrating at times if you don’t control your outbreaks and pain from the arthritis that can develop. I highly recommend Dermatology Specialists and I have really gotten better since seeing them and take their team every day for my personal health care.

My name is Noorikohan. I wanted to thank my doctor Arun Venkat for helping me to solve a mystery I was dealing for almost 8 years. I had small rash on my wrist and few under my breast for less than six month, wasn't itching and not disappeared too. It was noting to me but I decided to see a dermatologist. I thought a simple cream will treat it. On my first visit Dr.Venkat did biopsy on both area. Next visit he told me wasn’t cancer but Lichen sclerosis. Which is an inflammatory chronic conditions that mostly affected the congenital skin. He gave me steroid cream and asked me to check with my gynecologist. I had very severe itching in that area, visited two different gynecologist and both told me it because of menopause and gave me moisture. During 8 years period I had serious problem every 4 months. After I shared Dr.Ventat diagnosis with my gynecologist, she did biopsy and same results. Since then I use steroids in all areas and no more problems or severe itching. If he didn't do the biopsy at first place and encouraging me to see gynecologist, I was still dealing with lots of pain, for probably rest of my life. He is a young and knowledgeable Doctor. This should be your absolute last resort when looking for a good dermatologist. First the receptionist is so rude! I tried giving her the benefit of the doubt but she is terrible at her job. She is so unwelcoming and just plain rude. Also the doctors aren't helpful either. I saw two derms here. One for a skin cancer check and he barely did his job when scanning for any sign of skin cancer. I had to schedule a second appointment just to point out spots I was concerned about and he didn't mention. He tired doing a biopsy of a mole on my leg and didn't get enough cells to test so I had to come back again another day and they tried charging me another $75 fee! I told them it should be free as it's not my fault he didn't do his job the right way. The second time was for my acne concern and he literally prescribed a $75 cream of tret and benzoyl and ending up burning my skin. My curology works better than this place. Also, they hardly ever answer the phone and when they do you are welcomed with the most rude receptionist I have ever called especially at a business as this.

I've come here twice now and both times they were courteous, quick to get me seen and left feeling like all my questions and concerns have been answered and taken care of.

Dr Venkat is my doctor and he takes great care in making sure that the skin treatment I've received is to my satisfaction and always cares about how I'm doing with procedures that have happened and informing me of other treatment options. It's nice to not feel rushed when being treated and he has always asked if I have other concerns. I highly recommend Dr Venkat and staff
