Went in afternoon no waiting professional and fast
Wait to make an appointment is horrible. Make you arrive earlier to your appointment only to make you wait endlessly to be called, never have been caller at apt time.
I had an appointment today at 10:30am. At the moment of making the appointment, they asked me what doctor I wanted to be with. They asked me to arrive at 10:15am. It was 10:50, and I was still waiting, at 10:55 the receptionist called me over, and she said, "You have to reschedule your appointment." I asked her why and her answer was, "It seems that the doctor that you were supposed to have, is not your primary doctor." What bothered me is that my supposedly primary doctor, had only seen me one time. Meanwhile, the doctor that I made the appointment with, had already seen me 3 times. Right after 45 minutes waiting, then they decide that the doctor will not see me, for a reason very illogical. My question is why when I was making the appointment over the phone, the lady didn't tell me then?
On June 14, 2021, my disabled son had an appointment with Jennifer Montgomery. When my husband showed up for the appointment, the person at the front office informed us that the appointment had been canceled due to our son's secondary insurance, which is Medi-CAL and not an accepted insurance, apparently. The thing is, his secondary insurance has been on the account for years but was likely overlooked because our primary insurance - Blue Cross Blue Shield - covers the primary care visits at 100 percent. Thus, the secondary insurance never kicked in. Note that our whole family has been with Graybill since this office was located on Grand Avenue. At the time, Erica was the front office contact, and we were seeing Dr. Tanguma and Dr. Santos. Needless to say, my husband, who had rescheduled his meetings to take our son to the appointment was extremely upset. Unfortunately, Sara, the front office person who has known us for years was not working that day. I believe that if she had been working, we would have figured it out. I have left at least two messages for Armando (supervisor) at the Business Office to call me and have not heard from him. Graybill has lost four loyal patients, and we are definitely sharing our experience with friends. We are now registered with Scripps in San Marcos. Zero stars for poor customer service at Graybill San Marcos.
Zero Stars. I had to pay a $500 bill because my partner went here with insurance, asked the front desk women if we owed a copay or anything and they said no, it was all covered by our insurance... Then we get a bill in the mail that was for 4/12/21 but we received the bill on 5/21/21 and it said we owed money. I called to clear it up and they told me we had to pay. We asked when we went in if we had to pay.....if we knew we had a copay or some other payment, we would have paid or just left.....I will never recommend this business or this office!!!!! This is Your mistake and it's disgusting that you steal money from people!!!!!!Edited - out of all of this garbage experienced here, the one great doctor I will give a nice review for is Dr. Penunuri. She is amazing, kind, truly cares about patients, and I hope she gets a pay raise because she is great at her job and deserves it. This woman is the only thing positive we experienced about this place.
Jennifer montgomery is great. This review is about the call center after hours when you have a medical need . I called in today because my prescription was called in wrong to my pharmacy and I didn't have enough meds left for the weekend. I suffer with an anxiety disorder and depression. I have been on this medicine for 15 years. When I called to ask if an on call doctor can help me they told me NO. They said that it is not a medical emergency and they wouldn't patch me through to a doctor!!!!! That they don't "do refills" after hours. I explained it is serious and that I could go through withdrawal symptoms. They proceeded to not care and continued to argue with me and told me to calm down. I explained to them it is an emergency and I pay them a lot of money and I have rights as a patient to speak with a doctor. Long story short I was tired of fighting! I told them i am done with the group. I love my doctor but the staff that works for them are absolutely awful and this was the last straw !!!!
They have a number of doctors in the practice. When my mother didn't click w one it was easy to change to one who did her very well. Clean and caring staff.
This medical office has SEVERE problems in answering the telephone. It's not an occasional situation it's relatively constant. They never can seem to do more than put you on hold and leave you there to listen to their recording about how busy they are and thank you for continuing to HOlD HOLD HOLD AND HOLD with a constant recording on how much that they appreciate you holding..This is a regular with Graybill. It happens most of the time...They should hire additional staff to answer the phone.Don't go here if you need medical attention and are a new patient.. You can be on hold for God only knows how long. They obviously don't care.................. I called at least EIGHT times today and all I got were recordings.
Normally I see my PCP, but being that I called for a same day appointment, my doctor was not available and I accepted to have a TeleHealth appointment with a different provider. If you ever had COVID, been pregnant with constant throwing up, or just dehydrated because your body doesn't hold even water, you know what I'm feeling. This appointment was to ask for nausea medicine, but Mrs. Montgomery, repeatedly refused to prescribe me any meds. Instead she wants to send me to Urgent care or the ER...All I want is to feel a little better and not over crowd even more the hospital, or spread even more this stupid virus. So rude, unprofessional and heartless.
Was greeted outside and temperature checked at the door. Which is fine. Got checked in and sat and waiting for 45 mins before being call back. Then another long wait for the doctor. Other people who came in after us were treated first. One family came in and went right back without waiting. Guess some people get special treatment. Not very pleased with the service here.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
