List of Bei Run Pu Infertility Clinic's Reviews
I highly recommend Dr. Bei if you want a second opinion that is apart from Western medicine. I suffered through years of endometriosis and an ectopic pregnancy. I never thought I'd be able get pregnant but it was my deepest desire to get have a baby. My primary care doctor told me to go on birth control but that wasn't what I wanted. Seeing Dr. Bei was the best decision I've ever made. He understands the depth and breadth of the female menstrual cycle. It was hard to believe that his medicine would work - but the thing with TCM is that it's a holistic approach, you have to make lifestyle changes too and most importantly, it takes time, but it truly works. After 2 years on his medication, I got pregnant naturally and gave birth to a healthy baby boy and then 8 months later (without going on his medication) I got pregnant again and give birth to another healthy baby boy. His medication does work and it will HEAL your body, but it takes time because that's the nature of TCM. A lot of people are turned off by the office environment, but that's just how Asian clinics operate. If you can look past it and commit, it will be worth it.
Mr Bei is great. Because of him many of my girlfriends have beautiful babies today and Healthy. He has a kind demeanor and cares about his patients
They won't deny anyone. They tell everyone they stopped taking clients. They'll give you a bunch of pills and charge you thousands of dollars. Will screen and charge you based on your occupation of you and your significant other. Don't be surprised to pay at least $2500 a month for mysterious 'Chinese herbs'. We paid more. When you don't feel comfortable paying up, the front desk ppl (his wife and son) both will get super upset and give you a ton of attitude and pressure you. Forget about asking about referrals. They're gonna be pissed about you questioning their practice and so-called successes. The actual doctor is in China from Jan-July. And your appointments with him is over the phone... he'll ask you when your last period was and prescribe you his herbs. Up to you to try, but to me it feels like a scam
Went to see the Dr. 30 years ago and have recommended him to anyone that needed this type of service. His wife is very friendly and kind, his son is nice and Dr. Bei is very caring and knowledgeable. Just took my daughter to see him today. I was amazed at the way he took time to examine her and explain what he thought needed to be done. Fingers crossed she will be pregnant soon. Definitely a lot better than IVF!
5 stars for Dr. Bei's skills 4 stars for the overall experience Focusing on Dr. Bei's expertise -- he has a deep understanding on the menstrual cycle and how to balance it out. This comes with his strong foundation in Chinese medicine. We went to see him because of late periods possibly due to a premenopausal condition. His knowledge is very valuable because his goal is to revitalize the human body in the least invasive way possible. Dr. Bei's treatment is effective and helps your body heal yourself with the aid of natural remedies. He is a doctor who has a lot of confidence in his experience in this field. You can tell that Dr. Bei cares about each of his patients.
I believe their herbs and skills are excellent but it is very pricey. The front desks professionalism are lacking because it's a family own business and the wife and son run the administrative work.
My wife and I came to see Dr. Bei from recommendation but after 1 year, and spending $1300/month, we still didn't conceive a baby. Seeing Dr. Bei is like a religion, intangible, just trust that it will happen. The front desk is Mrs. Bei, who is not the most hospitable and welcoming receptionist, always yelling and insisting on cash payment only. They won't let you pay with a personal check until you have visited them at least 5 times. They do not accept credit cards. His clinic is labeled as acupuncture but Dr. Bei never used a single needle on my wife. He refused to provide any claims or CPT code for any insurance purpose. Dr. Bei spends about 15 mins on each visit to check my wife's tongue, pulse and asked the same set of questions. What kind of occupation you do, are you traveling from far, when is your last menstrual cycle. Every time he said my wife has improved and reassured us that she will get pregnant soon. Dr. Bei put up a lot of old pictures from his patients and telling the same old story each time like how this woman was in her 50s and he was able to get her pregnant. Medicine protocol was confusing, Dr. Bei's son was the person who prepared different types of medicine in a tiny plastic ziplock bag and labeled them cycle day 1-5, 6-12, etc. Patient is responsible to count their own cycle and take these confusing assigned medicine. We spent a total of $15,000 for a year and no take-home baby, please reconsider if you want to spend this time and money on this fertility route.
I was introduced to dr bei through a friend. She had taken his herbs for a while and got pregnant. a long story short, I've seen many doctors / acupuncturist throughout my journey with infertility. I prayed to God everyday so I believed that whoever I met along the way, it was meant to be. So here was what worked for me and my story, i was 28 years old when I started really trying, giving up bad life style habits and just trying real hard to be healthy, I joined yoga, cycling, walking when I can just getting my heart pumping. When I went to western doctors and got blood tests everything looked normal + my husband, nobody knew why of coarse. So in my mind my plan was to take his herbs and if it didn't work naturally I would go onto IUI then IVF. My first decision was actually to do IVF but then when I met dr bei, he said his herbs can help me create better eggs, + a better environment to carry baby. So I figured if this man can write a whole book on this topic, it doesn't hurt my body to try herbs, it may do more good than harm, before turning into IVF. I felt that whether I end up with a baby or not at least I tried my best to do every way possible to fulfill my dream. So I took dr bei's herbs for almost 1.5 year and moved on to IVF. I went to see him every week for him to feel my pulse and get herbs. His herbs would be different during and after period. My period use to be less, and the time was shorter, but to my surprise during the year of treatment with his herbs my period dates got more consistent and my period days longer. He also said his herbs would improve my egg quality, and my lining. I believed him and so it did, when I started to work with my IVF doctor, he said my lining and uterus looked good and I was ready to start. I started IVF and my eggs were all growing pretty evenly (said my nurse who says for some people they grow differently, too big too small) first IVF I got 18 eggs after surgery. AFter PGS, 2 strong embryos. Both eggs were labeled AA quality as the nurse said wow, your 2 embryos were both AA. I believe with dr bei's herbs and help throughout my IVF journey he was able to help me create better quality eggs and even my lining before transfer was perfect. I countinued to eat dr bei's herbs throughout my pregnancy and my baby girl is almost 2 years old. This baby was truly a miracle baby I call her, my rainbow after the rain. My blessing in disguise. I remember during the process I broke into tears at Dr bei's office, got so emo cuz I was just doing so much and so afraid. He never gave up and kept me focused, he was confident in me and made sure I was in myself. Yes the family talks bluntly but they are real people. Thank you Dr bei ! Hopefully see you soon for baby #2.
很有爱心的老中医,而且真的帮我们要到二胎!
I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Bei and his entire family. My wife and I've been coming to him for a number of years, and recently, we gave birth to a healthy baby girl! We are so grateful for Dr. Bei and his continual support and his incredible ability to know exactly what herbs are needed based on his pulse reading, FSH level, and predicting her menstrual cycle within a couple of days. I completely disagree with others saying that this ancient Eastern methodology does not work. The body takes years to break down, so it will take time to get the body adjusted back to health, so for those looking for a quick fix, it is just not realistic. Persistence paid off for us, when we look into the eyes of our beautiful daughter! Again, thank you Dr. Bei for being there for us during this journey!
