Dr Silver has been my diabetes care doctor for almost 9 years. When I started being his patient my A1c was 10,7. My last A1c this year is 6,7! I will be always grateful to Dr. Silver for his care of my diabetes.

I think I saw him from 1983 through 1997. His staff has always been difficult; I think that they are protecting him because he may overextend himself. Specifically, I think he is an excellent practitioner because he doesn't just work "out of his head". He is aware that medicine is an art as well as a science. That he can use this approach is nothing short of a miracle.

It take 5-6mo. to get in to see Dr. Silver...even if you are having a problem. The office staff is VERY rude when you call to try to talk to them about it as well. This is really too bad, as he is a great doctor and really knows his field~ just wish he had some compassion!
