Carbon Health Urgent Care - Hillsdale Mall's Online Review Report Card

Carbon Health :- I went here to get my covid booster shot. My appointment was at 5pm. I called in around 2pm to confirm the appointment and availability of Pfizer dose. They confirmed they have it. I reached there at 4:40pm . they made me wait for 15 min and then informs me that they only have Moderna and not Pfizer. When I told them that I had called initially to confirm Pfizer's availability I was told yes - they asked me to wait again. After 5 min of waiting further they informed me that they have Pfizer in freezer and I need to wait to let it cool down. I waited for 10-15 min and then they gave me the shot.My concern was if they knew someone is coming to get Pfizer - why did they not take it out before?Or why did they tell me its not there?I was so nervious and asked them twice that I am getting the right medicine right. They freaked me out a litle. I would avoid going back there.

My 5 year old daughter fell, her mouth was bleeding and they wouldn’t even look at her, what kind of urgent care is this? Are you even human ? Shame on you Your response below, blaming "current health and safety precautions" and making it an excuse to not see a BLEEDING 5 year old is really lame

Everyone was super friendly, informative and helpful. We were in and out in no time and convenient appointment times were available. Couldn’t have asked for better service.

Dr. Stephanie Phung was very compassionate and helped me with urgent referrals in a timely manner. 5 stars to Dr. Phung.With the concierge, I had the same experience with others. I couldn't get a service that was confirmed via the app as a carbon health staff on the app misunderstood own policy and gave me invalid confirmation.The person working at the concierge on 2/4/2023 around 10:30 was having an argument with another patient on the phone when I walked in, and she took her anger out on me by raising her voice to me immediately. She said multiple times it is 'straightforward' that they can't do certain things. She needs to understand patients are not medical experts and be more understanding, instead of judging (especially when they messed up).I do understand how stressful working at urgent care can be and highly respect all medical professionals in this field. However, I hope the staffs also understand that patients coming here are in pain and in urgent needs. Please take all consistently bad reviews seriously, and figure something out.

Efficient and effective, appointment was on time and NP helpful.

Scheduled urgent virtual appointment but no doctor showed up, the staff told me the system messed up with their schedule. What’s the point of making URGENT appointment if the thing I got was a staff asking me to reschedule after waiting for a long time. Besides Carbon didn’t provide any solution at all.

I was sick and feeling so terrible when I arrived, but the whole visit was quick and efficient. The doctor sent me home with a prescription and recommendations of which over the counter drugs to take as well. I was starting to feel better within a few hours.

I had visited CH in San Mateo location twice since 12/24/2022 under different circumstance for urgent care. Each time was pleasant and impressed. The office is very clean, staff is very friendly and the medical staffs are efficient and passionate to my complaints. I will return if circumstance warrants the need. I would highly recommend this place for medical cares if you can’t book a soon enough appt with you regular provider.
