Absolutely amazing doctor. Very thorough, knowledgeable, and kind. Is actually interested in investigating symptoms, and takes the time to make sure you understand what's going on. Extremely knowledgeable. I rarely have positive experiences with doctors--this doc is truly a gem.

Believe the five star reviews because Peninsula OB/GYN Integrative is the best medical practice I've ever been too -- and I've lived in many countries and states. Accolades to Chin who is the wind beneath the wings of this practice. She keeps everything going, has many roles, and does an amazing job with it all. She's also really nice, understanding, helpful and easy to talk to. Dr. Samuel Young is a doctor who possess what most don't: intellectual curiosity. That is, in my opinion, what makes him such an incredible doctor. He wants to continue to learn and will do everything possible to help his patients regardless of their medical health issue -- not just gynecological issues. As a gynecologist, he's experienced, knowledgeable, keeps up to date with new data, and sees things from the patient's perspective. He cares about his patients well being, listens extremely well and more impressively, he remembers everything which is pretty incredible. As an integrative doctor, he goes above and beyond to help his patients with non-gynecological issues they're experiencing. He goes over everything, ensures patients understand the game plan going forward and even suggests ways to save money. Heck, he offered better advice to me than my specialists at a prominent medical institution in the area and seems to actually want to help, not just go through the motion like other doctors who treat patients like a number. He ensure his patients are on the same page, works with them, and listens to their needs. You won't find a better doctor.

Dr. Sam Young is absolutely amazing. He has been my Ob/Gyn provider for over 6 years and has been a true blessing. From routine ObGyn care to prenatal care, to holistic care and acupuncture- He is the absolute best! His calm demeanor and extensive knowledge within OBGyn has helped me get through different personal struggles I have dealt with. I struggled with having a child for a few years and Dr. Young stayed positive, informed me of certain tests and practices I could do to maintain a healthy lifestyle and prepare my body in the right ways to be successful with a new pregnancy. He introduced holistic ways; acupuncture, that helped help relax my mind and body which I truly believed help stimulate ovary function and better blood flow. After 3 years of working with fertility and utilizing some of Dr. Youngs techniques, I can thankfully share that I was finally able to get pregnant and deliver a healthy boy! Aside from his knowledge of ObGyn procedures and practices, Dr. Young is genuinely caring and he absolutely shows it! Whenever I see him, he makes it a point to really ask how I am doing, and listen to my response instead of talking to me like a robot- like some other doctors. He asks questions and actually engages when talking about my life. He remembers my family, my children and always makes sure to follow up on certain issues that I may have forgotten or when I least expect it. He is an amazing guy and puts 150% effort into any aspect of OBGyn, healthcare in general, and just life itself. He is always looking for new ways to expand his knowledge and add to his practice. I wouldn't trust anyone more with my care than I do with him. Thank you so much Dr. Young.

I’m so glad I found this practice. Dr Young is very knowledgeable and knows how to treat women’s health issues beyond the typical “drugs-or-surgery” approach I’ve experienced at other places. Our biological systems are interconnected (hormones play such a big part in the body beyond just reproductive health) and Dr Young’s integrative approach looks to treat you as a whole person instead of just a set of isolated obgyn symptoms. I wish more places approached patient care the way Dr Young’s office does.

This was my first OBGYN visit so I was a bit nervous however Chin (Dr.Young's staff) helped make the entire appointment process seamless and showed the utmost attentive care; she is absolutely the sweetest and nicest office staff I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. From the start Doctor Young was extremely personable and welcoming ; he really cares for his patients and makes me feel like I'm in very good hands. Not only is he an OBGYN but he also has an immense knowledge of overall healthy living and has given me so much advice on treating my PCOS not just from a medical POV but also from a lifestyle POV. My very first appointment with Dr. Samuel Young was excellent. Dr. Young is very thorough and he takes his time with his patients. He is also very intelligent, knows what he's doing. His receptionist is the most polite and friendly front desk I ever met. I am happy with their professional service.

Dr Young is the best Doctor I ever visited. And I don’t mean the best OBGYN. I mean the best doctor. I moved to the US and had none of my medical records with me. He dealt with me with the utmost patience, prescribed all necessary tests to build my medical history. He always gets to the bottom of the problem and prescribes good lifestyle habits for preventative measures. His experience in the field is very obvious. Moreover, the doctor’s assistant Chin, is one of the most professional and sweetest people I’ve ever met. Their team really does a great job.

I don't give 5 stars too often....but this practice deserves it. I went there earlier in 2021....and I have been to many OBGYN's on the peninsula...trust me they are not that great when it comes to older women. They are only interested in babies....and quite frankly they are fairly dismissive toward women who no longer bare children. However Dr Young was different. He fixed a problem in his office that I have had for years....WTF? You mean to tell me that NONE of the OBGYN's I went to had a clue...or is it they just didn't care....I am so grateful to have found Dr Young..and I think her name is Chin (office assistant) Sorry I didn't write this sooner, the year kinda got away from me. But thank-you and you have my business for life........

Dr. Young and Chin are amazing! I cannot recommend this office enough. Dr. Young carefully listens to your needs and has exceptional table-side manner. He is very well versed in all your options and his style is educational and collaborative. Chin offers extraordinary customer service and proactive communication. They both are very caring and empathetic. I presented a unique set of circumstances and they were happy to accommodate my needs. The office also has a comfortable, spa-like vibe. Best OBGYN on Peninsula for sure!
