You are on hold for ever! and the few times that they answered they just put the receiver on the desk and ignored you, could hear people chatting in the background. Terrible customer service!

Ron Robinson senior Care Center is a medical clinic (geriatric). Their professional teams provide excellent care to seniors and comprehensive assessments especially to those with memory loss, dementia (including Alzheimer’s). They also provide casemanagement to needy clients and their families, coordinating care and making referrals accessing other resources (e.g. long term or short term homes, other out-of-home placement, day care, home health care, transportation, financial assistance, ………etc. and other appropriate services.). I have known this clinic since it started to operate. I had had about 15 years (as a social worker) coordinating/ collaborating with this clinic (their doctors, psychologist, nurses, social workers and clerical staff for referring my clients to them). Their response to my calls and emails were usually quick. Their doctors are experts in geriatric care and memory loss. I still miss them after I retired since 2018. Wishing them well. If your need to contact this clinic for services, please be patient with their recording taking your messages. Each of staff is busy meeting the out-patients and their families or talking on the other lines referring, discussing or coordinating services for their patients. It is understandable that staff may be away from desk frequently, walking among different rooms. Waiting them to call back needs some time. If message is urgent, quick response call back apparently occurs. Very often, doctor will directly get back to the patients/ family or their social worker if it is urgent, or staff call back give instructions that depends on needs. I always encouraged my clients (seniors) to become their patients first so the clinic could take care all their needs especially before they have urgent needs advice or care. New patients cannot expect a clinic (like any elsewhere too) would give them a first appointment within short time. Better to know this clinic and service well ahead before any urgent care is needed for them and their families. I recommend this unique medical (geriatric) clinic, run by County of San Mateo for many years. Thank for the excellent continued services provided by this medical clinic team in the County of San Mateo. After 16+ working in County of San Mateo, I am always proud of having this geriatric clinic serving this big community of our San Mateo County. 🙂
