List of Torrance Hospital Ipa's Reviews
I decided to do the gluten and food allergies test last oct 8 week and I didn’t get my results yet. I didn’t have a doctor’s order, I just paid with my credit card and went to the San Pedro office, CA. There is no communication when I am going to get the results or a phone number to speak with someone. The app says in process since last week. I
Nicole was extremely rude... The kind of people that go to work to make people life miserable... To be bad she needs to improve a lot.
Great experience for me, was in and out quickly
First red flag was that the female phlebotomist had LONG ACRYLIC NAILS. As someone who works in healthcare myself that is a big NO. Second, I believe the nails and the skills of the phlebotomist affected the way she drew vials of my blood. As each vial was changed, she would shove it in and bump the needle in my skin. As the vials would fill, the phlebotomist was looking away and thus, would allow the needle to push and move to the left side of my arm where she was leaning on. Never had a bruise or soreness from a blood test before until now. Phlebotomist needs more training and to comply to the health care hygiene policy.
Lady at the front desk is so rude. Please go somewhere else if you don't want your day ruined. Never going here again.
Incredibly quick was in and out in under 4 minutes
This place was awful. I had an appointment. Upon arrival, their app estimated my wait time to be about 8 minutes. I ended up waiting 45 minutes to be seen. People came in AFTER me and were taken ahead of me; so apparently if you’re late, you’re rewarded with being shot up to the front of the line. When I finally was seen, they said they didn’t have my orders, which they could have easily had during my wait. I had to wait another 10 minutes, so total wait time already near an hour during mid-day Tuesday. Now I’m after my test and it turns out the nurse didn’t do half the tests I had on the order. I’m livid! Do yourself a favor and find ANY other office.
Wonderful customer service from Rafael, he was very respectful and very gentle with the whole procedure. Thanks Rafael, keep up the good work 😁😁😁👍👍👍👍
Covid19 measures are taken seriously here. The lab technician was skilled. The blood draw went without a glitch. My toddler felt accomplished and brave when her blood was drawn here.
They do not have enough staff in the mornings to handle the number of people who need to get their testing done before work. Staff doesn’t have great customer service skills... seems they don’t respect their workplace. Might be that they’re not paid enough.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
