William Essilfie's Online Review Report Card

Went in for a gastro consult, was in the waiting room for almost two hours. When I finally got to see the doc he didn't want to see the medical records I brought, just wanted to do a colonoscopy. He was in the room for literally less than 30 seconds. There is no way I would trust this guy with any kind of medical procedure.

Does doctors don't do their job right you have to keep calling them to just get a referral or job done Literally I have to call like 20 times just to get one thing done I asked to be a referral to a different doctor and they refused I went in for a coffee called Dr. Essifie said it was nothing so I went home I still didn't feel good so I decided to go to the hospital they told me that I had bronchitis because my doctor i didn't take care of my congestion remind pregnant at this time so now there's complications due to him not knowing that I had congestion been complaining about congestion he obviously said soo thank you Essifie William my baby died at 6 mouth

Took me a month to get orders for tests to see if a lump was cancer. I go to the labs for the tests and my orders are totally botched or not on file with the lab after getting confirmation from the doctors secretary that they were sent. Wasted time, money, has for nothing. Terrible service. Doctor and employees do not care, never answer the phone when needed. I’ll find new doctor and start over.

Receptionist was very kind and patient, but oh wow I hate to say the complete opposite of the doctor. I told him I needed glasses and reference to an OB (I am 36 weeks pregnant). He told me "let's worry about one thing before going on to the next" so after he drew my blood to make sure I was pregnant he said "ok call back Wednesday goodbye" and I said "what about my glasses?" And he said "next time, call Wednesday." This visit took no longer than 2 minutes, and I am in desperate need of glasses. Also when he drew my blood I didn't notice till after that he wore no gloves, he didn't even atleast put hand sanitizer on or washed his hands, and the tape to hold the cotton in place was stuck onto a dirty handle door, and he peeled it right off and stuck it on me. I was so grossed out, and I literally couldn't believe this man was a doctor. Once my baby is born and I'm allowed to switch doctors, you guys can believe I will call my insurance to do so. The moment her head stick out from under is the exact moment I grab my phone and call.

HORRIBLE office and the receptionist really is unprofessional. I was having vomiting and nausea for three days and called on day one to ask for a refill for my anti nausea pills she put me on hold then told me they would call it in. I just called there for another three times to be told by the nasty receptionist "Well didn't you check with your pharmacy to see if it was filled" Really? Why should I have to do that does she not know if it was called in??? I can't wait to change insurance companies in October. I'm so done with that receptionist she is ruining business for the doctor.

Dr. Essilfie has performed several endoscopes for me. I was so happy to learn that my new health insurance is contracted with him. I trust his skill and knowledge. I’m not a baby who needs to be cuddled, I am a grown woman who depends on God for comfort, grace, and assurance.

They give great service staff is very friendly but only thing I dont like is that they give you test result by phone instead of doing it by person. You have to actually call and ask for your test and still wait until the doctor is available to give you your test results. I have been waiting about a week and no call yet. I hope they can figure out a better way to do this.

I'm not Steven Yatroksky he is my brother I'm using his account to review William Essilfie. All I can say is every time I call there the rude receptionist puts me on hold and never gets back to me!!! So sick of dealing with her why is she still there? I really like Maria and Pam they are very accommodating and kind! I will be switching doctors in October I cannot understand why this office is so unprofessional and still up and running.

Just got off the phone with them, took them 9 mins to tell me the earliest time they could see me would be at the end of JULY and it is now early MAY. The Receptionist is super rude and took a hold every second she could. She was trying to multi task and talk to multiple people at the same time. HORRIBLE customer service. i will not be going here based on that person alone. i would not want anyone like that managing my medical files. GET BETTER STAFF DR ESSILFIE!

Disappointed with the care and treatment I received. I had an Upper Endoscopy done in Dec. 2018 and I regret not looking for another doctor. I had so much abdominal pain and burning from the day of the upper endoscopy to two weeks later. I couldn't even drink water the first week. My gastritis pain was worse than before I had the procedure done. It's been three weeks since and I lost almost 10 lbs due to the pain that the procedure caused me. I've had this procedure done before by another dr and I did not have any type of pain just a sore throat. Also, Dr. Essilfie doesn't answer your questions or explains your results in details. He keeps his answers so short almost as if he doesn't want to speak to you so I did not feel comfortable asking further questions. He also told me to take Tums if I had pain as if I haven't tried that before. I've been on many meds and at some point nothing made my symptoms better especially not Tums. I would not recommend him to anyone. I'll be going to my primary doctor to ask more about my results.
