I have seen Dr Avon at Fremont office years ago.I was happy to see him in San Ramon this week..He is prompt very thorough on asking questions and very kind with a great personality that puts you at ease..He cares about his patients and gets along well with his staff..I'm very grateful to have such a experience knowledgeable Doctor

I called during their lunch and the answering service told me that the San Ramon location is accepting new patients. I drive over an hour from my home to get there. When I got there, I was told that I was given misinformation and that they couldn't help me. When I asked if there are any other providers that could see me they said no. Then proceeded to ask me why I wanted to see a provider, when I said a consult they asked me for the reason in front of patients waiting to be seen at their office. This makes me highly uncomfortable to reveal my symptoms in front of other patients. Very unprofessional in my opinion. I got their information directly from Blue Shield and they still have their closed Fremont location listed. Their answering service is misinformed and gives patients incorrect information. I cannot rate this practice in regards to patient care because I was unable to see a provider.

Great Doctor..Makes you feel comfortable..Does a thorough up front interview with you when your a new patient..Hes ask all the right questions. Reviews all your reports Has great people skills and makes sure you have all your questions answered. Explains everything so you can understand. Goes out of his way to get you feeling better..Also has great staff in his new office

I first met Doctor Avon approximately three years ago when I was, unfortunately, diagnosed with prostate cancer and was trying to determine the best solution to deal with this problem. Luckily, I had Doctor Avon as my Urologist and he professionally and compassionately walked me the numerous and complex options available to me to deal with my cancer. We decided on breaker therapy as the best approach for my particular situation and now three years later I am vastly improved and I most grateful for Doctor Avon and his compassionate and professional approach throughout the process.Larry Rodrigues
