I have been seeing Dr. Ingegno for severe vericose veins which resulted in a superficial blood clot. I will have vein surgery when I complete my Covid vaccinations. Dr. Ingegno's office practices strict Covid protocols and my wife and I have felt very safe in visiting his office.I believe that Dr. Ingegno is an excellent practitioner and does a great job in explaining conditions and communicating treatment options. I am VERY satisfied with his treatment.

Dr. Ingegno is personable and extremely knowledgeable in his field of expertise! As a caregiver for a diabetic, Dr. Ingegno has always included me in discussions and when Ive been unable to attend appointments, hes spoken to me on the phone to make sure Im in the loop. We were first introduced to Dr. Ingegno in 2015 at San Leandro hospital. The man I care had been informed he was going to lose his leg due to a raging infection that had gotten to the bone. Dr. Ingegno wallked us through the procedure and what to expect afterwards. We were told of options for anesthesia and when not sure what to chose, he kindly stated, If it were my me or my family, Id chose.... We went with his wise advice and have been a patient ever since. Truly a gift who just fell into our laps 4 years ago. Grateful for him AND his staff!

Dr. Ingegno took such great care of my father that it is hard to find words to properly thank him for the quality of life he made possible for my father. My father had so much calcium deposits in his legs it was like shrapnel and caused ulcers in his legs not to heal. However, Dr. Ingegno took him time to clean and dress his wounds and manage my fathers wound care for years. Previous to Dr. Ingegno, another doctor wanted to amputate my fathers leg. I am sure that due to Dr. Ingegno diligent and thoughtful help, it is what allowed my father to keep his leg 26 years later than the doctor who wanted to take his leg. Finally, the day came when my father was dying and I called Dr. Ingegno who took the time to make a rare home visit. I am sure that his longtime relationship was part of the reason he made that visit but most of all this shows how much Dr. Ingegno cares for his patients. When he saw my father he immediately said that he needed to finally have his leg removed as it was what was hastening his demise. Since my family trusted him so much we followed Dr. Ingegnos advice. This was not an easy decision since my father was over 115 years old! Dr. Ingegno and the entire team at San Leandro hospital did an incredible job! When we visited my father right after surgery he was more lively and alert than he had been in years. My father was sharing stories and telling jokes right after his surgery amazing! I know that my fathers life was prolonged in large part due to Dr. Ingegnos incredible care, concern, and expertise. My father, Andrew Hatch, passed at the ripe old age of 117! My dad said the reason for his long and vibrant life is due to the Man upstairs. However, I know the man upstairs sent Dr. Ingegno to us because his incredible care was surely heaven sent! Thank you a million times over Dr. Ingegno!
