Very competent, very professional and friendly staff. Dr. Todd Severin is a good listener and reassuring doctor.

I’ve been a patient with Dr. Todd Severin for over 13 years and am very happy with his expertise and his thoroughness. His staff is very knowledgeable and kind and despite the fact that I go there to treat a problem with my vision (kind of a downer) I always leave there feeling heard and appreciated- I enjoy seeing them, in fact. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dr. Todd or the East Bay Eye Center to anyone- they’re all great.

I am verry happy with the experience with East Bay Eye Center. I was accepted on time, no hours long wait like I experienced with another eye doctor. Both technical assistants were very efficient and courteous. I liked very much that after the tests I was given to watch a half an hour video presentation explaining cataracts and their treatments, this was quite educational for me. Dr. Severin paid great attention to me, answered all my questions and was clear about the state of my eye condition and the possible timing of treatment. My only critique is my experience before the appointment itself. I had to provide a referral from my optometrist in order to see the Doctor. The receptionists kept saying the referral had not been received while, in fact, it had been sent several times by the optometrist. I had to eventually call both sides and make the connection between them. They receive these referrals by fax and at some point, when I called just a couple of hours after the referral had been sent, the receptionist told me that they simply get too many faxes and it is impossible to find it. Sounds a bit disorganized, does not it? Also, when making the appointment (which was done 5 months before the date), I was told I would receive paperwork to fill in and I did not. When the appointment day approached, I called again the clinic to ask for the paperwork. I would definitely recommend the Eye Center because of the doctors and assistants and am giving the 5 stars to them, but the receptionists should do a better job.

Conscientious team

His office gave me his earliest appointment which was 6 weeks away. Then as I was exiting the freeway to his office after one hours drive they called to call me and tell me that my appointment in 10 minutes had to be cancelled due to the Dr. being ill. Then they said it would be 5 weeks wait before I could get a new appointment.Dr. Severin may be a good doctor, but excessively delayed medical treatment like this can do more harm than good. Better to find a doctor who will actually see you in a timely manner and honor his appointments.

I have to write a review for the care my mother received from Rahul Raghu, MD - East Bay Eye Center!!! WOW is what I have to say, she was given such great care. We left feeling like it was my own family taking care of her. DR Raghu even went as far as giving her his private cell number should she need anything. It is very hard to find doctors who are truly available for there patients anytime of the day. What an amazing experience. THANK YOU
