Horrible experience, didn't treated properly, Their main focus was to mint money. Avoid this

I have been to several Dermotologist across the country. Dr. Ting is one of the very best that I have seen. He listens to understand your symptoms as well as examining to see things that you may not have noticed. I am very happy with the examination and results. I will be returning for follow-up visits in the future. Dr, Ting's staff is also very knowledgeable and helpful. Overall I am very satified with my choice of doctors.

Provided a plan to do some alternating laser treatments for sun damage and rejuvenation. Everyone has been excellent, PA Annie C is top notch, Connie extremely knowledgeable and both Jasmin & Jasmine excellent. Nurse Ashley was also outstanding!

I really don’t understand these low ratings. Dr Ting is a true professional and is an expert in his field. I’ve been going to him for many years. I’ve had skin cancer and I never felt more confident in having him treat it. He gave me different options and we both decided together what was the best procedure. He has also been there for me working on hair loss. My hair growth has doubled in the past two years due to his knowledge and expertise. He’s the best there is.

Carey is very personable and efficient. My last appointment did seem a little rushed. I think that 'time with patient' is limited by the company!

My wife and I were able to make an appointment for our annual check up at the same time. We were in and out! Staff was very friendly and professional as always.

Listened patiently to my concerns. Offered several options to address and resolve them. Described in detail considerations I should be aware of. Spent considerable amout of time with me understanding my expectations and creating a plan around my timeline and desired results. Very happy with results and Dr Tings approach and methods

If profanity was allowed here, I'd title my review something else (believe me). Here's my story: During my initial consultation with "Doctor" Ting for hyperhidrosis treatment, I requested an authorization be submitted for Botox, as it was evident that my severe diagnosis would not improve solely through medication. Despite my insurer stating it was covered, Ting advised me that my network would not approve. I asked him to still submit paperwork as I was skeptical. He said he would...a few weeks later, the office informed me that my network denied the authorization. I go for a few treatments but without success (one was moderately good but not amazing by any stretch). I contacted my medical network. Not only did "Doctor" Ting NOT submit an authorization but the representative told me it's untrue they automatically deny Botox requests for medicinal purposes. Obviously I was livid, not only at the lackluster treatments but my paying exorbitant money when it could have been zero (my coinsurance is 100%). My insurer told me to have retro-authorizations submitted...the doctor's office did it but, per someone's words, said it was a "courtesy". Filing authorizations is a standard operating procedure, not a "courtesy". If they don't wish to deal with HMOs, don't accept HMO patients. Pure and simple. A few weeks go by and the network denies the authorization (I learned it was due to his billing manager providing an inaccurate code. Incompetence multiples at this office faster than Octomom!). I'm sure they thought, "See! We told him it would get denied!" I appealed it, provided an eloquent letter about my situation (I'd offer to do this from the onset. It takes all of a half hour on a weekend. No sweat-pun intended, as my condition is excessive perspiration) and gave the appeals personnel a couple articles documenting Botox's efficacy for my condition. A few weeks later, sure enough I got reimbursed. I doubt they have EVER dealt with an insurer to be paid for Botox treatments (The above took minimal time. If they have submitted paperwork in the past with no favorable outcomes, you would think they would inquire what went wrong so they can improve)...they're just lazy, inept and want an expedient route towards fast cash. To everyone reading this, use my experience for learning purposes: if a doctor states something that makes you suspicious, FOLLOW UP by every avenue (i.e. call the network to confirm if they have authorized your procedure, contact your insurer, see what can be done to have your treatment approved). Sometimes you have to do the leg work if the staff is nonchalant towards addressing your needs. I'm now much happier with a far superior dermatologist (she even noticed right away via my medical records what Ting did wrong. I've already gotten results after just one set of Botox injections).

I've never had a more stressful experience with a doctor than I did with Dr. Ting. I went in for a procedure which Dr. Ting stressed would not be authorized by my medical network (even though my insurance carrier stated they would cover it). I asked him to submit the authorization so I could see. He said he would...months later, I learned he never submitted paperwork (he also stated it was denied). His office submitted a retro-authorization. Indeed, my insurance covered it. Avoid this office.

Friendly. Knowledgeable. Advocates for his patients. Proactive in assisting patients with saving money. Talks quickly yet explains thoroughly every option. Allows patient tochoose best option for them.
