Abha S. Gupta's Online Review Report Card

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Dr. Gupta’s practice. I saw her for years for regular well visits and she always made me feel so calm and confident and answered any questions I had thoroughly- never rushing me out. When I became pregnant with baby number three after an 8 year gap, she once again helped me feel confident and encouraged despite age and lack of planning. Wondering if I should seek specific “geriatric” care, I went to try a larger specialist practice only to find I immediately missed the warmth of Dr. Gupta’s office. I knew I could always count on the phone being answered by someone I knew at the office, that my questions would always be answered with care, that I was a patient not just an insurance billing, and that any answers that weren’t known would be found. Dr. Gupta had me seen immediately by CHoC when an ultrasound showed possible heart problems in my baby. She offered me all the modern options but never forced anything on me. My baby boy joined the world perfectly healthy and safe. And the joy on her face when she met him showed just how much she truly cares and loves what she does. Thank you Dr. Gupta and team!!

The doctor is no good. Now we're searching for another one. Don't waste your time here.

I have been a patient a Dr. Gupta's for over 24 years now. She also saw my mother prior to me becoming a patient as well. She was with me through all 3 pregnancies/c-sections. I have always, ALWAYS had the best experience one could possibly have with a physician. She is exceptional. She listens intently and she hears you. She takes the time to get to know you as well. I consider her part of my extended family. As the years go by, she continues to maintain a high level of professionalism and provides the best patient care. I am very fortunate to have her as one of my health care providers. She also has the best front office/medical assistant, Sonia. She also has been a wonderful part of my visits over the many years. Very kind and caring. I wholeheartedly would recommend Dr. Gupta!

Had a great experience going to see Dr Gupta. She took her time and explained everything . Her staff is very friendly and very helpful. My appt. was on time and did'nt have to wait. Staff verifies your insurance before your appt. I would recommend. Great experience.

This OBGYN does not deserve a star. I wanted to share my experience so that you will not end up like me. When I became pregnant I went to this lady thinking “she is an Indian she will understand food habits from my culture”( Dear Indian women in US please stop thinking like this right now when choosing OBGYN) she never touched my belly during my appointments and always asked a assistant (who is not a doctor) who worked there to check and touch my belly, she never diagnosed or informed me of my rising Blood pressure through my pregnancy and then she disappeared in my last trimester with out informing her patients and when I inquired the office they stated that she was gone for 3 months vacation out of the country(she did not replace other obgyn while she was gone), Due to her irresponsible acts and not monitoring my Blood pressure, I had severe brain damaging head aches( I thank lord for not having a stroke), I lost protein , I blew up like a balloon and I couldn’t even wear flip flops , it was that painful, my water broke a month before the due date and I went in to labor and after 14 hours the staff informed that they could save only the baby but not me or I could go into coma due to very high Blood pressure and after 14 hours, a OBGYN arrived at the hospital after taking care of his patients in the clinic and did a emergency C- section because they could not find baby’s heart beat anymore and I ended up staying in hospital for one week so that they can bring my Blood pressure down. God saved me and my baby. My baby is all grown up. My family and relatives asked me to sue this women but I let it go and I still get chills when I think about this ordeal. I also suspect her medical license, it must be revoked permanently so the medical board can save many lives. She is evil and uneducated, ignorant and horrible women. Please do not go to this OBGYN and save your life and your child’s life. Please ban her from practicing medicine.

If I could give this review zero stars I would. So back in 2017 I went and got my IUD put in the doctor didn't even launch it right and had to re-launch it and then she didn't even touch the string. And just rolled it up and put inside me about 7 to 8 inches of string. But moving forward now I'm having discomfort in my uterus and wanted to get an ultrasound. I had scheduled the appointment and went in did the normal exam and they told me to come back in two weeks for an ultrasound because our ultrasound person is only here one day of the week every other week. I had to call back because I specifically told the doctor I was going to be on my period at the time and she ignored it and scheduled me anyway but when I called back they did decide to reschedule me. Three weeks later I go for the ultrasound mind you I live in Riverside area and it took a minute to drive up there. My appointment was scheduled for 2 PM I showed up at 1:45 and no one was there the door was completely locked. I tried calling but the calls weren't being answered and no one was coming to the door. So I waited till about 2:30 to call again and I got the Irvine office... I told them about my predicament they told me to recall the office I was at come to find out all the calls are being forwarded to Irvine. I was never seen for my ultrasound and when I called back today I just got a bunch of excuses and stories that were not matching up about the ultrasound tech being in there (but I don't know why she wouldn't answer the door if there's banging on the door or the phone line ringing). Then I got oh she's been out sick. And then I get oh well she was running late, she was there maybe you should've knocked on the door, she was seeing patients.... sounds like a load of BS. I will never be coming back!

Worst experience ever. I don't recommend going here. There's better obgyn's out there. I wish I could give this place a no star rating.

Dr. Gupta is great. She takes the time to know you, and really listens to what you need. I had to have an emergency c-section and she was amazing through the whole process. Highly recommend.

She misdiagnosed a large cancer tumor on my mother and told her it was a cyst and to just "watch it".. 6 months later my mom found out it had doubled in size and we are awaiting what cancer treatment she needs.
