They are called URGENT CARE AND THEY ARE CLOSED FOR LUNCH. I had an emergency and came by at 1 pm and the security guard told me they are closed for lunch and to come back with my emergency at 2pm. What is the purpose of urgent care then?
It's amazing that I work as a massage therapist at an international franchised location and our business is open yet the social work/psychology appointments are all over the phone appointments only. How does it make sense that I can be in closer proximity to a client than a psychologist? I believe in masks. I haven't had one positive COVID test, but I have been mildly sick with a runny nose and sneezes since this whole COVID pandemic begun (understanding these are not COVID symptoms).Today I decided to end my appointments with the social worker/psychologist. I couldn't get a good babysitter at the time of the appointment so I had to have a little interruption during the appointment. The lady I was working with decided it wasn't working so we ended the appointment early. It also didn't seem like I could get the best kind of help from her (feeling as if she hasn't gone through the things I've been through to understand). I understand she was trying to help, but I also understand that some of my circumstances are different than others. Perhaps she's new? For this reason, I'm not as happy with their service to fit my needs. Over the phone counseling/psychology appointments seem very robotic and unhelpful...maybe I'm just not that kind of human...this is just my perspective. Thanks!
Worst experience of my life. I had severe back pain and went to this urgent care to get help. I went there at 12:30 pm and they told me while usually the urgent care is open from 11 they do not have a provider today and I have to wait until 6pm and even then, there is only a chance I will be able to see the doctor. How is this place called urgent care if you need to wait more than 6 hours to just saw a doctor??? They told me rather than waiting, I can go to Anaheim location ( see in the picture, they highlighted the location for me). I asked two times from them are they sure that location has doctor and see patients and they said yes! Guess what?! I get into car with my pain even more severe at this point, drive 20 minutes to the address they said and when I got there, there was no Altamed urgent care. I asked around and a business owner told me they relocated more than a year ago! How did the reception in this so called "urgent care" did not know that? Worst experience ever! Zero patient care!
Always horrible slow workers and always say dont have appointments and have walk ins wait over 3 hrs to get attended Dont even answer their work phones very disapointed and angry
It’s disappointing that the patients appointment times are NEVER respected. I have been waiting for an hour after my “appointment” scheduled time and this happens every time i have an appointment. What’s the whole point of making an appointment if we get seen whenever the doctor feels like it? This is very upsetting because the staff is friendly but the way the perform is so unprofessional.
Extremely unprofessional and the wait is horrendous : they told us an hour wait and we waited for 2 hours without being seen. My Gf has a second degree burn on her back which he came to get checked out and the staff in the waiting room was exceedingly unhelpful and couldn’t even tell us exactly how long or how many people where infront of us. We ended up leaving without being seen. If I could give a review without giving stars I would
Friendly, great service going above and beyond. I came in to urgent care late on a Friday sick and despite the wait (less than expected) I was registered and helped to some water and an ice pack for my hot head. From the receptionist at the desk to the nurse and doctor, I was very pleased. They were kind and cared. Customer service like this is really a hard find.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
