List of Matthew L. Greenberger's Reviews
Dr. Greenberger is a wonderful urologist. He is very knowledgeable, thorough, on-time, and gentle. His office staff is great - highly recommend all-around.
A second opinion solidified our suspicions about his medical advice. The proposed procedures didn't need to be done. His staff is terrible as well.
Great Dr., will have funny conversations with you and is very knowledgeable. I gave four stars because when I was there for my vasectomy, they waited until I was literally with my pants down before telling me I need to give them $500 for the visit. I found that to be the poorest of timings and felt like they planned it as I was clearly not going to say no. But, I'm sure it was an honest mistake on their part.
I'm in Orange County and the list of Mohels that answered me in advance of my son's birth was very short and only a couple even considered traveling. I picked Dr. Greenberger because he was very calm and explained his process well while we were shopping around. He also held a spot on his calendar for us during that time. When we called to confirm with him, he sent a very detailed list of things we needed to prepare in advance and was quick to respond to emails. The day of the bris, he was punctual, polite, and did a great job with the circumcision and ceremony. We got many compliments from attendees on our mohel selection. I would wholeheartedly recommend him!
Front office could have been better with appointments and enthusiasm, but Dr.Greenberger made up for that by being nice and understanding with my problem. I was cut here and he did an amazing job.

I'm writing on behalf of Robert A. Lower, a patient of Dr. Greenberger's. I appreciate all the help with Dr.-patient communication and care. You explained the procedures in a manner that I understood and felt comfortable. I appreciate all your help and would highly recommend you to other potential patients. Robert Lower
I recently had an appointment with Dr. Greenberger and as far as doctors' appointments go I was really satisfied. From the time I made an appointment to my arrival I was treated very well. His staff has you wait outside until it is time for your appointment. As soon as I met Dr. Greenberger he immediately made me feel comfortable. Another plus is that I needed to have an ultrasound done and he was able to do that quickly and efficiently in his office. I think he is very knowledgeable and professional and if anyone asks me for a referral for an urologist I will give them Dr. Greenberger's number.
Dr. Greenberger was my urologist for one year and ten months (between Oct. 2018 and Jul. 2020)... He had me take multiple PSA tests (PSA and PSA % Free) over a 20+ month period... he had told me "let's keep an eye on the PSA pattern and if there is an upward trend in the wrong direction, let's do a biopsy..." "we'll work on this together..."Then in July 2020, out of nowhere, he sent me a letter informing me that he would no longer see me... the reason he gave: "you will not take my advice..." However, that claim is ABSOLUTELY FALSE!!! The strange thing about it is that in our last office visit (on Zoom), in July, he recommended a biopsy, to which I agreed... When his staff called to make a biopsy appointment, I told her I had prostatitis and asked if that would cause a biopsy scheduling problem... she asked if I wanted another PSA test... I said sure... but, I still wanted the biopsy... she then said he would get back to me... but, instead, I received the letter informing me he was dropping me as his patient. I wondered if his staff had misinformed him about my biopsy appointment call... so, I called his office to clarify... the desk help told me she would leave him a message... but, I'm not sure if he ever got the message... he never returned my call... so, I called again... this time the office manager told me "once he sends out his cancellation letter, he never talks to that person again." What? Over 20 months, he was friendly, and I thought he was directing my steps towards a right decision... and never once did he lead me to believe that I was rejecting his advice... until it was too late----with no opportunity for clarification... what kind of long-term care doctor does that to anyone?HE WAS NOT UPFRONT WITH ME, thus, lacking sincerity and integrity--You have to be able to trust your doctor! Watch out for smiling faces, sometimes they don't tell the truth!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
