My mom was referred to RAOC from Teyani Institute and what a great referral this was! She started seeing Dr. McGuire in March of 2022, he was very knowledgeable and explained what was wrong with my mom's eye, bleeding of the retina. At the time it was very mild and no treatment needed to be done. He was very familiar with diabetic retinopathy and deals with this on a daily basis. We came to see him 6 months later {end of September} and unfortunately my mom's eyes did change for the worse. The imaging showed the swelling had increased compared to 6 months prior. He let us know if we didn't address it now, my mom would lose her vision completely. Since the end of September he has been treating her with eye injections to treat the swelling of the retinopathy. The goal is to preserve her vision and if she is actually able to see better that is a bonus. The injections aren't pleasant, but Dr. McGuire moves very fast. His nurses are great and make sure my mom's eye is prepped and numbed. The injection itself is less than 2 minutes. Hopefully after my mom's last injection in a few weeks she won't need any for awhile. Dr. McGuire is very optimistic about her retinopathy and has great bedside manner. If anyone has retina needs, this is the place to go! ^__^

Dr.Hwang and all his office staff are excellent. They are professional ,friendly and helpful. The office is very efficient and well organized. I would highly recommend Dr.Hwang for any retinal problems. In four years, I have never had any problems under his expert care. I am really sad to be moving from the area, but he was helpful in arranging a referral in another state.

We love Dr Hwang ! He detected my fathers’s retina detachment right at its beginning and has been diligently treating his eye and maintaining his vision . We appreciate his professionalism, high level of care and excellent bedside manners.

Staff friendly from front to back office, reasonable amount of first time paperwork to fill out, and a well-organized system to get you through the retinal care process which is serious business. It's a 2-hour process due to eye drops and waiting on test results, but they are very thorough. Dr. Gupta is a well-educated woman, (Girl Power) very knowledgeable in her field of choice, friendly and cute as a button 💯😃 Thanks, SQ

Dr. Lean is most thorough and congenial. Staff are mostly friendly. Office presents clean and comfortable atmosphere. I highly recommend Retina Associates of Orange County.

Dr. Hwang did my Macular Hole surgery and everything came out great! I was worried about this surgery but Dr. Hwang and his staff made me feel safe and comfortable
