List of Thomas Badin's Reviews
Dr. Tom Baden is always there for his patients. He is knowledgeable, kind and most important truly cares for his patients. I have had some major health scares and he has brought me thru them. The friends I have referred to him are always grateful for me referring them.
My wife came down with Covid during the Christmas holidays and Dr. Badin worked with us to get medication and appropriate medical care to ensure her case didn't progress beyond what appeared to be a bad cold/flu infection. Dr. Badin spent over an hour with us on the very first call we had with him and did as thorough a workup over the phone as is possible and provided as much comfort as possible for my wife and I as well. This man is a top line provider and we selected him as our primary care physician immediately based on this experience. He has a great personality, an easy smile and very friendly demeanor, very no stress personality. He is a Christian as are my wife and I and we appreciate that his values and beliefs mirror ours. He took the time to pray with me for my wife's recovery and that of my daughter and her family who are also sick with Covid. It is very nice to have a doctor who is also a believer it is an indication that science, medicine and God are not mutually exclusive, but go together hand in hand.I am happy to recommend Dr. Thomas Badin to anyone who is looking for a great primary care physician for themselves and their family.
I am writing to give my physician, Dr. Thomas Badin, my highest recommendation. Dr. Badin helped me with some questions regarding best steps for taking supplements during the pandemic. He provided me with up-to-date medical literature to back up his advice and he provided resources directly to me. He took the lead in contacting my pharmacy himself to make sure that they could fill my presription. Later, when I needed out-patient treatment at the hospital, he spoke to the physician in charge, while I was on the phone, to insure that I was going to receive the best treatment. Dr. Badin treats his patients with compassion and a listening ear. He spent all the time necessary to answer my questions prior to being treated and has provided follow-up over the weeks, since that time. Thank you again Dr. Tom for all of your caring help.
I started seeing Dr. Badin over a year ago to get clearance for an eye surgery. With each visit, I have found him to be a kind and compassionate Dr. who takes his time with patients and makes them feel at ease. I greatly appreciate his thoroughness in explaining test results and sharing his knowledge on methods of treatment. He is very considerate, never rushes the appointment and is a pleasure to visit. His office staff is always friendly and very capable, too. I feel very fortunate to know Dr. Badin and to have him as my doctor.
I have known Thomas Badin, M.D. for over 20 plus years. I know Him thru my Church, a very well known Non-Denominational Church in Irvine. Many, many people I know from there...have gone to see Dr. Badin for normal, routine, and Emergency Needs over the years. He has volunteered on Medical Mission Trips with this Church and other organizations frequently. When I talk to him, he is always open to giving hearth-felt Medical advice when asked. I know personally of more then 3 people, who with various scarey Medical conditions, have been calmed by Dr. Tom (as we call Him!) visiting them, most often in the Hospital...even when He was not their treating Physician, (such as friends covered under Kaiser). They have told me Tom's concerns were incredibly helpful in their problems, illnesses, and recovery. I would not hesitate to see him as your Family Practice Physician. By the Way, I am a retired Behavioral HealthCare Provider, Master's Level,(Hospital Based, both In-patient, and Out-Patient Clinic) with expertise in Mental Disorders, Psychological Issues, etc.
I have been home 6 weeks from being in the hospital fighting Covid 19 abs I found Dr. Badin. He's a man I'd faith who believes in his patients and listens to them. He makes recommendations and gets you the medications you need. Easy to get in and see him, friendly staff, feels like home not a stale Doctor's office.
This is my experience showed up for apt dr office is old like pra same office he had when he started medicine in 1984 the office looks like something from the 70's, needs massive facelift, dr was late seeing me at my appointment, then spoke with tech support for about 45 minutes with me in the room, after he got off phone it was business as usual no apology, he did my physical and then I asked him about a medical issue with the door closed with the door open he spoke about my medical issue so anyone in the hallway could hear, he also got concerned cause I had a high pulse I run 3-4 times a weak and my Apple Watch never has high pulse he wanted to refer me to a cardiologist for no other reason, it's called white coat syndrome. He got my lab results back and called me the medical assistant spoke with me and was rude and had a you will attitude. Needless to say I heard a quote from another doctor saying "if you don't agree with your doctors treatment plan you should look for another doctor" I think he is way to old school medicine for me. I have found treatments online and with specialist that I agree with more. He did pray for me when I left that was cool. But can not excuse rudeness, ignoring, old office, and old school medicine.
This doctor is amazing! I called him several times without an appointment and he made the time to address my concerns. It's hard to find doctors today who will take time with their patients. But Thomas Badin truly cares!
I have never met a doctor like Dr Badin. Not only does he answer his own phone to prevent patients from waiting, he calls his patients back and spends time with them answering all their questions, concerns, and even follows up to see how they are feeling. Dr Badin truly CARES for his patients. The way he has taken care of our family sets the bar. So much so that my husband has decided to make him his new primary physician. His secretary, Nancy is absolutely incredible as well!
We first happened upon Dr Badin when my husband was hospitalized, and Dr Badin was filling in for another doctor. He was not only an outstanding physician, but a tireless advocate, for my husband's health, and has continued to be so in all the years since. I have never met a doctor so willing to jump in and get things done the right way, such as getting the patient to the right specialist, STAT. Dr Badin is truly one of a kind, and a committed, devoted, ethical, indefatiguable warrior for his patients. He has our deepest gratitude.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
