They promptly answered the phone which is not the case with some of the other UMI locations, where they don't answer at all no matter how many times you call.I came as a walk in pretty late in the afternoon, they still accept to get my imaging done. Everyone was nice and patient, they even stayed open longer just for me and I'm so grateful and appreciative. We usually go to UMI of Huntington Beach to get moms imaging done, and have only had good experiences there. We were scheduled at this facility in September and when we arrived we were told that we were not on their schedule. We had to reschedule for 12:15 PM on 10/14/2021. When we arrived a little past Noon we checked in and sat down in their lobby. At 12:55 I decided to ask what was taking so long? I was then informed that the technician had been called away on an emergency and we would need to reschedule. Really?! You think I'm going to be disappointed a third time?! It's odd the UMI of HB always calls the day before an appt to confirm. UMI of SA does not. I'm really curious when the staff was going to get around to telling us that the technicians as left had I not asked them for an update. I can't stress enough how satisfied we are with UMI of HB. It is this particular facility that falls well short of the Brand

Drove 30 miles to not only get to my appt on time, but early only to be informed that it wasn't at the time I was given when I made the appt, it was 30 mins later. I then waited 45 mins to be seen but that's not the worst of it. After my 1st appt, I was informed the x-ray tech is out to lunch and I would have to wait again! It's been nearly 1.5 hours that I've been here & still waiting! They can definitely do better with scheduling & Covid19 precautions. No hand sanitizer in the changing room & had to open/close the door without it. Yuck! Will opt for a different office location if more radiology appts are needed.
