Dr Anwar has been great in every step of the testing, diagnosing, and treatment of my cancer. Her diagnosis and treatment have been spot on. She is extremely knowledgeable and shares her knowledge so I was able to understand about my specific type of cancer and why she selected my type of treatment. She follows the science behind the Lab visits and other testing which makes me very comfortable to be in her care. It has already been a 6 month journey since my original diagnosis. I feel fortunate to be in her care. I highly recommend Dr. Anwar.

Dr. Anwar is dangerous in the way that she takes patients (critical) care so lightly, she misses diagnosis of spread of cancer and then casually tells them “not to worry”. She scheduled us to receive results of last PET scan over 3 weeks after it was taken because she was on vacation again, and then asks us “what took so long to get in” during our appointment. She is unaware of which of her colleagues is performing her patients treatments and she is often not prepared with test results during patient appointments. She does not follow up with patients regarding their treatment and well being and she is truly a dangerous oncologist to have. PLEASE seek another’s opinion if you fall into the hands of Dr. Anwar.

Dr. Anwar has been great! She is very kind and has a genuine patient approach. She is very clear in her communications regarding my condition and explains every step of my treatment and diagnosis. Scheduling is never an issue and her front office staff is outstanding.

Dr. Anwar is the most kind and compassionate physician I have ever met in my life. I first met her when I was uninsured. She still chose to see me for free. She then helped me get an insurance by filling out all the paper work. She held my hand through the most difficult time of my life. She has a special way of reassuring patients through the most challenging times of our lives. She is honest, brilliant and empathetic. Simply no one better than her! If you must get cancer, go to her.

Starting down the path of cancer treatment is certainly a daunting challenge. Dr. Anwar seems infinitely aware of what is going well,while also making necessary adjustments to our treatment plans whenever necessary. I'm not sure I could ask for anything more than a physician who seems so knowledgable and comfortable in her chosen specialty.However,we are blessed,also, with a physician who has a sense of humor,a faith in dealing w/ uncertainties, and a most caring way of reassuring us at our most fragile times!

Most definitely would recommend Dr. Anwar! She’s super sweet and very dedicated to her patients. She has help me immensely with discounting the treatments until I got insurance. If I have any questions even on off days she gets back to me immediately. She gives her patients her all and I would definitely recommend her!
