Corey SCOTT Frucht's Online Review Report Card

Unfortunately, Dr. Frucht's office is very poorly managed and has the worst patient care I've ever seen. I've been on a medication prescribed by Dr. Frucht for a year. The medication automatically refilled every month and I did not know it would stop after a year. When I called the office for a refill I was told that could not happen until I was seen by Dr. Frucht who was scheduled out for multiple months. I was told I could see a NP but still would need to wait 2 weeks to be seen. I asked if I could get a refill to cover the time til the appointment and was told absolutely not. All I could do was wait for my scheduled appointment. The day of my appointment arrives and I could not find parking in the lot. I ended up arriving at the office 9 minutes past my appointment time after eventually finding parking on the street. The receptionist was on the phone and I waited longer to be checked in. When the receptionist got off the phone he told me it was now 12 minutes past my appointment time and they could no longer see me. He said their grace period was 10 minutes (which I met but was still refused service and at no point was this time frame ever conveyed). Despite pleading to be seen for my quick refill appointment, I was repeatedly denied care. It's clear to me that Dr. Frucht's office does not care for its patients and I will be finding a different dermatologist in town.

Dr. Corey Frucht is terrific. Knowledgeable, sensitive, informative. Not only I immediately felt at ease as a new patient but also I became very confident feeling that I was receiving expert medical care at it's best. Staff was great, too. Walked away, very impressed with the overall experience. I highly recommend Dr Frucht to all who is looking the the best advice in dermatology/oncology.

Both my daughter and I have had excellent results with our different skincare issues and we have Dr. Corey Frucht to thank for this. If you have rosacea or acne, he can help you. Having clear skin makes both of us feel great. I have read some of the bad reviews here and have to say, we have never had this experience with Dr. Frucht or his office and we have been many times. They are all about helping patients and getting to the business at hand there. That said, they are not going to hold your hand and coddle you, that's not their job. Dr. Frucht is focused, responsible and professional. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

Dr. Corey is great but the office receptionist this morning is rude and rushed me off the phone. I was trying to make an appointment for my daughter but she was rude

Dr Frucht is very courteous, thorough, and highly professional. Demonstrates outstanding knowledge and true desire to treat his patients. He is very good at explaining the patient's condition and following with the treatment options, he patiently answers all your questions. The staff and office atmosphere are excellent. I highly recommend Dr Frucht to all who are looking for the best dermatologist

In my 55 years, I have never experienced a doctors appointment as awful as this! He was impatient, rude, and condescending. Dr. Frucht should find another profession, he seems to truly dislike caring for people.

Impatient, rude, condescending! Quite possible the worst experience I've had in a doctor's office in all of my 50 years. Shockingly unprofessional. I have absolutely zero confidence in his medical expertise. Stay away

After extensive research I chose Dr. Frucht as my,hopefully, new dermatologist largely due to his excellent reviews. Image my shock when he told me he did not find himself qualified to remove five 1-2 centimeter cysts ( lipoma) from my scalp due to the extremely small chance that one of them could be cancerous. He recommended that I have them removed by a plastic surgeon. ( Do they now diagnose cancer???) Isn't it suppose to be part of his professional expertise to diagnose skin cancers and treat them? His web site states: "Board-certified medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatologist serving the city of Santa Barbara." So what is really going on? In any case his parting words "we are here for you" came across as trite; empty shells of nothingness following immediately on his refusal to treat me. Also amazed that no reviews have mentioned the run down appalling condition of his practice rooms! Dodged a bullet?
