First, this man is incompetent and put my life in hell for 6 weeks. He read my mammogram and told me there is new microcalcifications activiy not previously seen recommending an MRI followed by a stereotactic biopsy. I had breast cancer 12 months ago including breast surgery and radiation, resulting in a life now dealing with permanent lymphedema. Having to face this possible reoccurrence was devastating to say the least. My family and I have been through hell. Three weeks later I had the MRI and 3 weeks later just 3 hours before the scheduled biopsy a second radiologist who was to perform the biopsy determined there was no new activity and it was a false alarm. I cannot tell you the torture and anguish he caused. My husband and I are so angry we can't even embrace the good news yet. We should be walking on air. Secondly, when he delivered the news of the supposed problematic mammogram, I got visibly upset and felt horrible. This heartless man delivered his clinical news then walked out of the room. No compassion there.

This was my first experience with a thyroid needle biopsy. Dr. Nunnerlly was very patient explaining each step of the procedure. There was very little pain, only when the lidocaine was injected. The assisting staff, Crissy and the pathologist, were also great. They all worked together wonderfully.
