Staff at reception very profesional. The dental hygienist was very gentle and kind doing her job. Definitely will have her clean my teeth again.
Very friendly and professional.
I have been a patient of this practice for about a year now, and my previous experience was just okay. The dentist himself was great and the hygienist was fine, but they seemed to always be behind and then rushed through the appointments. I made an appointment with the orthodontist prior to my scheduled annual cleaning to inquire about getting the buttons from Invisalign removed off my front teeth. This required X-Rays, and the tech was friendly, efficient, and offered to take the rest of the set required for the annual exam since I was already there. I met with the orthodontist, discussed the plans, and then he sent the office manager in to discuss payment. She entered the room and already seemed annoyed, shoved the statement and pen in my direction and said it would be $1,000 to remove four buttons. This caught me off guard, and I asked if it was an option to only remove the two visible ones, and if that would drop the cost to $500. She responded "you don't just get to pick and choose, so no." I explained that I wasn't expecting to pay $1,000 when I was told that it would be "a couple hundred dollars" at the last visit. She was extremely rude, and told me that she would "escort me out" as if I did something wrong. The tech explained to the office manager that she was going to finish my set of X-rays to save time at my next appointment, to which she responded "that's unnecessary, I'll escort her out." The experience was bizarre, and the treatment left a bad taste in my mouth. I have since established with a new office, and they removed the buttons completely free of charge in a matter of minutes during a scheduled exam, and the dentist was shocked that I was quoted $1,000.
Kind amd courteous! Professional and personal! Like the name says "Family" and they make you feel warm and welcome.
Friendly, efficient staff. My appointment was smooth and pleasant. Citlali was very patient and gentle with me. The BEST!
Had a wonderful experience at Johnson Family Dental. Dr Yong and Maria were great. I felt confident that I was in good hands. Sadie also explained how much my insurance was covering. I highly recommend.
Highly unprofessional management. I arrived a few minutes late for a 1:00 PM appointment and witnessed the staff (Nina) give my time slot to a walk-in who didn't even have a scheduled appointment. When I tried to check in, I was met by Carlos Mecis, who was dismissive and rude. He refused to honor my appointment and insisted I reschedule. To make matters worse, when I asked for the manager, Carlos lied and claimed he held that position. I verified with the front desk afterward that he is NOT the manager. If you value your time and expect honesty from your healthcare providers, go somewhere else.
Avoid this place at all costs. I took time off work for a 1:00 PM appointment and arrived at 1:07 PM. I stood there and watched the front desk lady, Nina, juggle a guy in front of me who didn't even have an appointment scheduled. After some back-and-forth, they magically "found" a spot for him, which turned out to be MY spot. When it was finally my turn, a guy named Carlos Mecis came out. Instead of checking me in, he rudely told me I was late and had to reschedule. I told him I'd been standing there for 10 minutes watching them give my slot to someone else, but he just kept robotically repeating that I had to reschedule. When I asked for the manager, he claimed HE was the manager. I left furious, but went back in to get his name. Nina confirmed his name but told me he isn't even the manager. So not only are they disorganized and rude, but they also lie to your face to avoid taking responsibility. They treat their patients like overbooked airline passengers. Never going back.

The staff was pleasant and made my experience great. I left with a smile and happy with the service. Kudos to Michelle, she was thorough and knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
