Best dentist in LAI travel a lot for work, and have visited two of Dr Omid's locations, they always get me in for an emergency even on the weekend.

Excellent emergency care and service.

I was told to come in at least 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork, which I did and no one was there. So, I waited for 15 minutes, standing outside the office. When my name was called, they wanted to do x-rays right away; but I told them I did not need x-ray's because the only problem was that my new veneer had popped off. There was nothing wrong with the underlying tooth structure... no pain at all and this is an easy fix... Just re-cement the veneer in place. My personal dentist was on

My personal dentist was on vacation and I just needed an interim dentist to help me. So, no x-ray, but it felt like they were just trying to cause additional charges and make something simple complicated. Turns out that I was right. Dr. Barkhordar barely spoke 2-3 minutes to me (He did not examine me at all) I simply told him that the veneer had popped off and said that the cost of re-cementing my crown would be $800.00. I could not believe it. I said that I could not justify $800.00 to re-cement a veneer (for that amount the dentist should give you another veneer entirely). Then, as I was leaving, the receptionist said that I would need to pay $65.00 for the office visit! The dentist spoke to me all of 2 -3 minutes. No examination! Who gets paid $65.00 for 2 minutes? I told the receptionist the dentist needs to call me and adjust his charge. He never called me. I left another message and still no call back from Dr. Barkhordar. The office charged me $65.00 anyway! I am currently disputing it with my bank. Oh! Just this morning, that same veneer was re-cemented and only cost me $118.00 with a reputable SB dentist. So, beware of Dr. Omid Barkhordar, who just wants to bilk his patients of their money, without giving them any service. Sky high Beverly Hills prices for a tiny little dentistry office in SB and questionable business practices. Definitely not ethical!

I found this dentist after he advertised in a local coupon book. I wasn't expecting someone so nice and so patient. He takes his time with you to explain exactly what's needed and answers all your questions with expertise and experience. I like him as he's up to date with the latest dental technology and he even honored a coupon I had that expired! His staff are all nice gals as well. I give him 5 stars for customer service and 5 stars for really really good dental work.

Best dentist I ever tried in Santa Barbara. My dental implant went well and I felt really safe throughout the process. Thanks to you Dr. Barkhordar.
