After 14 years of dealing with a shoulder injury from weight lifting (physical therapy has helped regain range of motion and strength, but not chronic deep muscle pain) and 4 months of dealing with patellar tendinitis in my knee, Kenneth performed an acupuncture treatment on both those areas using acupuncture, infrared therapy, and thermal heat. Post treatment, trigger point pain in both the knee and shoulder have substantially decreased, as well as pain on range of motion. Swelling that was located around my patellar tendon for the last four months is completely gone. He anticipated it would take 2 to 3 treatments, this being my first visit. As a practicing General Dentist in Ventura California, Kenneth had a very caring and empathetic bed side manner. He spent quality time with me during my entire treatment. He was very informative about the benefits of acupuncture and his approach of treating patients. He also took time to explain how other colleagues of his treat patients and how “one size fits all” is not his approach. Kenneth takes his back ground of sports medicine and approaches his treatment to better enhance how each muscle, tendon, and bone work together.

Kenneth is a miracle worker! I had Achilles tendinitis for months. Did PT which improved it some but still wouldn’t go away. After only 2 acupuncture sessions with Kenneth I feel almost 100% again! I’m so very thankful! 🙏

I had been suffering from severe morning sickness (throwing up every day, multiple times a day) and tried a whole bunch of options recommended by the Dr from B vitamins to medications and nothing worked. I tried acupuncture as a last resort and I really wish I had tried it sooner. I have not thrown up once since my first treatment over a month ago. I did have to go back in a week or two later for follow ups because my morning sickness is so severe, but seriously, this was a game changer. I feel like I got my life/body back. Dresden made me feel listened to and addressed all of my concerns. She went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and check in with me as well as give me treatment options and explained everything very thoroughly. (I’m rather anxious because I don’t want to harm the baby in any way and Dresden helped answer all of my questions.) I highly recommend Points of Health and plan to come back to have other ailments attended to after the delivery of my baby.

I had surgery this summer on my right shoulder to repair a tear. Started PT but the pain made it hard to do my exercises. Found Kenneth Luke at Points of Health and it was a game changer!! His Acupuncture immediately brought my pain levels down so I could get going with PT and getting my full range of motion. Almost there! Highly recommend Points of Health! They are amazing!

Their acupuncture has helped me and my husband for various ailments - acupuncture really does make a difference. Acupuncture by Johanna Anderson is amazingly effective! I go for an acupuncture treatment for just about everything from a skin rash to muscle pain and everything in between. And now with Lifepoint36, I am able to continue at home the great effects of her acupuncture. I use the band In the evening while watching TV or reading. After using the bands for just about 30-40 minutes, I feel decreased fatigue and much calmer and normal digestion.
