In the world of human experience, most dental patients are apprehensive. Dr. Ray and his wife Perri, along with their staff, are remarkable for their skills that combine caring and excellent treatment for their patients. Even perfect strangers are equally cared for. I have been their patient for 10 years and if I can learn to relax, certainly almost anyone can. Personally, I am not thrilled with Yelp's lack of screening and censoring inappropriate comments that contain slander and personal attacks. I have researched that one must pay money to Yelp to protect oneself from cranks.

I found Dr. Johansen to be very caring dentist that went way out of his way for my daughter while she visited Santa Barbara. I had a very fortunate experience from Dr. Johansen's office. My daughter was visiting from Great Britain and was having a serious problem with one of her teeth and was in substantial pain. She was not getting relieve from her dentist in Great Britain and while she was here decided to call a dentist. Dr. Johansen not only treated her right away but fixed her tooth and she ended up heading back to Great Britain pain free. Bless you Dr. Johansen.

Received excellent care and attention for a cracked tooth requiring a crown. I was seen right away. Temporary crown worked well, and the permanent crown was adjusted until everything fit perfectly. As pleasant an experience as having a cracked tooth can be.
