List of Sansum Clinic's Reviews
Very unprofessional, don't waste your money; your time or your insurance!!!!Run
In and out. Very little waiting and they send texts to let you know of your appointment which really helps. Quality staff!
I just Recently went to an appointment at the cardiology clinic and the attending medical person (mr. Learner) Dr.?!..He started by making me wait in the lobby waiting area after my Echo appointment to have my heart looked at and then proceeded to act like I was wasting his time with the Unprofessional mannerism and the way that he held his body and the the way he rolled his eyes when I was asking him some serious questions about my heart. He would be a Good reason Not to see a Doctor Anymore (and not to get the vaccine.) The rest of my visit was relaxing and made me feel cared for. I apologize for such a response. But Something had to be said about such Childish behavior from a health professional.Thank you for your time at reading this.
I have since 2001 been to this clinic. My first doctor was a gastro-enterologist. He was OK, but in the end, unhelpful. But this clinic has some specialists only available in academic centers or here. I have intermittently attended Neurology. The doctors here couldn't be more uppity. It takes 3-5 months to be seen. And then, they make mistakes. My so-called tertiary referral is an unpleasant person and seems not to care for me in the least. Also for some reason, she got hold of the wrong end of the stick & made a serious misdiagnosis. I don't know what's going at this place, but I'm not going again.

no appointments until 4monhts from this post, I think my foot is broken and they are they only insurance provider in my area
I've been in searing pain for many days now. The cottage e r did nothing helpful when i went 2 days ago but said a certain type of specialist could help help me if i could get an appt. Tried multiple times, Sansum promised speedy callbacks but all lies. i can barely type this. They are now closed for the day. I've been going to Sansum for many years with healthnet insurance. They are sadistic liars.
Billing department is unable to do basic 5th grade math. Double check the bills you get in the mail from them, and do the adding.
Billing is not accurate. Pay attention to charges being added for procedure and testing that were not performed but added to your account a year and two after your doctor visit or procedure. Very unethical billing strategies.
My review rating is a "split the difference" because I've had such a mixed experience. I want to start by saying I have received excellent routine care at Sansum; both my primary care physician and my ob-gyn are lovely, really listen to me, and provide expert care. While getting the initial appointment took a full year, I have been able to get appointments without any issues since. That said, I've only had routine/pre-scheduled appointments, so I can't speak to scheduling appointments that come up suddenly. Unfortunately, the billing process has been terrible. My preventive visits have consistently been coded using non-preventive CPT codes, which means my insurance will not cover them. I've requested reviews and recodes, but to no avail. I've been in absurd phone calls where my insurance agent, the Sansum agent, and I all agree that the visit was preventive, but Sansum still refuses to use a preventive code. I've been promised a recode, and then told a month later that "nevermind, we won't recode it." It's all the weirder because Sansum will get their money anyways, either from my insurance or from me. It got to a point where my insurance had to do an "administrative override" to authorize a payment for "non-preventive" (which really were preventive) services - and I'm very grateful they were willing to do this!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
