I cannot recommend Dr. Zusmer enough. Explained in detail what he could do for my horrible pain in my knees from arthritis. Radio Frequency Ablation. Told me everything it could and could not do for the pain. Did the test on done and walked out with out ANY pain. Set up the two procedures (one knee at a time). Have not had ANY pain from the arthritis since. Office staff very friendly and helpful. Most differently for would recommend them.Linda Philip
When Dr. Reimer came in to handle pain management, I thought, how is he going to handle all these patients? How is he going to handle me...? I'm bubbly, feisty, and funny, (I don't mean to be) , it's just my personality. Anyway I've found Dr. Reimer to be one of the best pain management doctors around! He very courteous and really listens to what your symptoms are. He ask the right questions and he's very attentive. I've been suffering from back pain, forever and after a few Facet Injections into the correct nerves the pain became 80%!!! WOW, I'd take that any day according to what I was previously going through!!! And he's the one pain doctor that I trust at the clinic... I'm going in for a few more procedures and I pray that I receive the same relief as I did with my back. I'm positive I will because Dr.Reimer is definitely the best pain specialist to go to. He's the MAN, YALL...
I think Sansum needs to hire another pain physician and more administrative staff for this office. This office seems to be disorganized. Portal messages go unanswered, and over four months passed for me before they contacted me to inform me that my insurance approved a procedure(which I already knew because I received a letter from my insurance and had it done elsewhere.)In my opinion this office does not provide quality medical care.
After having been to the previous pain mgmt. group, Dr. R and his staff are a welcome relief. The others really did not explain their procedures, insisted on general anesthetic...etc. My first visit with Dr. R was excellent. He spent time explaining my condition and possible procedures. I had an epidural without any anesthetic, and it was painless--the man knows how to give an injection! Followup was equally satisfactory. My only concern is that he is the only MD on staff for pain management (I think) and it takes too long to get back into see him when pain returns. But this is the responsibility of Sansum -- this is not the only department that needs more MDs to handle the patient load.
Dr Reimer is ridiculous, asks that you come in 15 min early for your appt then keeps you waiting for an hour every time. Only to have him look on his phone to google GNC or wherever for alternative pain relief. As if I haven't already done that!!!!!! Very judgmental and I've tried everything he has suggested including one prescription that I almost called 911 after taking 1 dose. He is no help at all- don't waste your time or copay .

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
