Sansum Clinic's Online Review Report Card

Just had my IUD insertion with Heather Merrick. It was a very uncomfortable as she had terrible bedside manner. The procedure was awkward, and she did not walk me through it in a professional or caring way. The reception was also unfriendly and unhelpful. I would not recommend this place at all for OBGYN needs.

Compared to other obgyn’s this one is forsure not worth any stars. I called to make an appointment and I was told the next appointment was December 2nd.. it was July 22nd…. Was able to get squeezed in (thankfully) since it was something more serious than a routine check up. I had a pap done and no breast exam . Was confused if this was suppose to be normal as every time I’ve had a pap I also have the breast exam as well…. Heather Merrick was very pushy to get back on birth control and didn’t really take the time to listen to my questions and I got the feeling she just wanted to leave. When discussing PCOS I pretty much had to ask her to write me the referral to have blood work done because in her words I “show some signs of PCOS but it could be or couldn’t” … when asked more about it I was told only blood work could confirm it so again I ask, “Should we get blood work done then?” And her response was “I mean I guess we can” really? The patient has to tell YOU to run blood work? I hated having this appointment here and could only imagine how horrible it would be to have this group for actual pregnancy and delivery.

Based on other reviews, experiences here seem hit-or-miss. I think it's absolutely worth a shot, though! I just went for my first OB appnt (first pregnancy!) and it all went very smoothly. I got several confirmations for my appnt leading up to it, had no problems checking in, had the sweetest doctor Navdeesh Reiners (can't recommend her enough!) and was in and out in an hour. All the other staff and nurses I met were super nice, too. One thing I agree with about other reviews is it did take a long time to get an appointment, but ironically they got me in sooner than any of the other dozen clinics/hospitals/practices in the area that I tried first. I'll try and leave updates of my experience here over the next few months!

I had a good experience! Dropped off my digital x-rays to the wrong Sansum Clinic and all the staff I'd seen in person or spoke to on the phone. All very friendly very nice and helpful. This was on a Friday and this clinic was closing at 12 noon. By the next week on a Tuesday my x-rays did make it to the other Sansum Clinic. Great Staff keep up the good work! Thank you for your service!!

I don’t understand the other reviews but when I was seen they have been very good to me and checking on my baby they have been very supportive so far. I have a follow up soon and they send constant reminders, This is my 3rd pregnancy and it’s the best clinic I’ve picked

Was planning on switching from Kaiser to Sansum Clinic. Made a new patient appointment with Dr Engrstrom. They gave me a phone number to call to have my records transferred. After more than 3 weeks and a half of dozen calls and messages nobody has called me back. Left another 2 messages for the supervisor in charge of records Laurie Gutierrez. Still no response.If this is how they treat you from the beginning i'll take it as a signa nmd find another doctor/clinic.  I have had better service at the DMV.

The worst gyno office I have ever been to. It’s cold, disconnected and lacks any feeling of patient care. If you have any serious gyno problems go somewhere else. It takes months to get one appointment.

BE MORE RESPONSIBLE AND MAKE SURE YOU ACTUALLY PUT THE APPOINTMENTS IN YOUR SYSTEM!!!! I had to wait a month or two to have this appointment and when I called to see what time I have to come in, they said they didn’t have any appointments for me today. THIS HAS HAPPENED FOR THE 2nd TIME AND IM SICK OF IT. Get it together.

Horrible service and unprofessional staff.Made an appointment in July for end of September (earliest appointment available), only to get a less than a week before the appointment saying that "the doctor is traveling and has to cancel." Very unpleasant, but ok - doctors are humans, stuff happens. When can I reschedule? December! Excuse me? You cancel on me and make me wait another 3 months????Urgent care - while is better -- highly unprofessional. The prescription was not sent to the pharmacy, the doctor did not call back to discuss lab results... Pharmacy -- highly unprofessional. The pharmacist inputted the wrong number of refills and lied saying that only 1 dose can be released at a time blaming insurance. Trasnferred to CVS, checked with the pharmacist there - boom, 3 doses supply no problem. Incompetence galore

I highly recommend the OBGYN department st Sansum. We had great care with Dr. Terbell
