had her for over 10 years and she was awesome. really recommend as a pediatrician for your child. the entire PAMF system is also super easy to navigate and the staff are really friendly

Dr. Zhu is one of the best pediatricians at Palo Alto Medical Foundation. Both my kids were her patients while I lived in Santa Clara. She is very gentle, attentive, calm, thoughtful, patient and always takes time to explain her diagnosis, treatment options and medications. I highly recommend Dr. Hyunsoo Zhu.

My daughter had reflux and sleeping problems in her first year. Dr. Zhu is patient, responsive, kind and professional. She is on time and answers our questions every time. I highly recommend her!

My child has been Dr. Zhu's patent for two years. I've researched a bit to find a good pediatrician for my little one, I found her, and our overall experience so far has been positive. Since my child has been quite healthy thankfully, we hadn't met her very often, and our experience is limited to routine treatments such as cold, flu, and regular checkups.She seems a thoughtful person and I like that she is not pretentious. She has a calm personality and is nice enough (she wouldn't adore your kid though--not saying that she has to) and responds to all my questions or concerns. I trust her as a doctor; her diagnoses and treatments of illness seem correct and working, and she makes sure that my child gets good. The only complaint I have is that she seems always busy. She's sometime not available for a week or two. Sometimes even with an appointment, we had to wait for more than half an hour in the waiting room.

Our lil' one decided to arrive five weeks early so we were quite unprepared. One of the recommended things to have accomplished is to pick your pediatrician. We barely had our crib up when our baby arrived, what more a pediatrician! My husband's task was to pick one based on the three that were recommended by our baby referral. Since there were no reviews on Yelp to go by, my hubby picked Dr. Zhu based on her many years of experience alone. BOY WERE WE LUCKY!Even betore we were released from the hospital (our baby being a preemie had to stay in NICU for a bit), we were asked who we picked for our pediatrician and after we told them, each response was "Oh, you picked a good one!" or "Oh, you are going to love her!" or enter some other super positive response here. It felt good knowing that from the NICU nurses to my own OB-GYN, each one of them gave her such praises before we even met her.Our baby is six weeks old and we have gone to see her several times already. WE HAVE PICKED A COMPLETE GEM! Even my sister, a pediatrician nurse visiting from Texas, came with me to one of our Dr. visits and told me that Dr. Zhu is a genuinely nice doctor, no fake smiles or anything, she is caring and extremely nice. She is super informative and takes every precaution to make sure you and your baby are feeling and doing well.I am so glad that my husband chose her and feel good knowing that my preemie baby is in very good hands in is on the road to a very healthy life.
