Came in October doctor wrote me a prescription that according to the pharmacy was outdated by almost 2 years (clinic should have updated the form). Prescriptions are supposed to be valid for 6 months and it was not nearly 6 months time since the prescription was written. Pharmacy tried to contact doctors office but no response, so I called to ask the office to write the prescription again but on a new form. Should've been a simple fix. Instead they said I need to come in for another visit (basically they just wanted me to pay again) which I wouldn't have minded if it wasn't their fault to begin with by using an outdated form (standard practice is that the prescription should be valid for at least 6 months.)Disgraceful customer service, really bad practice overall and zero consideration for the patient, very disappointing.
I really enjoyed my visit felt I gave him all my health issues and he check everything I feel I made a good decisions to change isurance and I received a good doctor ! Last doctor had me going all over and they did everything there 🙏🏻🙏🏻FPS good results
Really bad, they did not solve the my problem, charged me an absurd for a 5 min appointment.
I have insurance, and Ive been seeing Dr Cho for over two years now. So far Im completely satisfied with his services. The reviews are generally correct about Dr Cho being straight to the point from the beginning. And this is how the doctors are in most countries around the world. He spends no time chatting about weather, sports, politics or whatever is considered making patient comfortable. However this is what I expect from a medical doctor I come there with a written list of my concerns, and they all are addressed. He found a major medical issue I was totally unaware of, and has it fixed. His office also can do Xray, ultrasound, EKG and blood work, so when those tests are ordered, I dont have to go anywhere and can get everything done in one place. More important, I can just drop in without appointment and will be seen in less than one hour.My guess is: if you need a doctor whod spend lots of time comforting you, who would explain you everything in deep details without your questions, whod make you feel happy and comfortable, and whod bill you for all the above, Dr Cho is not a doctor you should see.On the other hand, if you know exactly what you want and what bothers you, write it down (so you wont forget anything), and come expecting your concerns to be addressed with no extra chitchat and focus on saving your time, Id give Dr Cho a try.
Okay for imaging and blood test!
I cant believe a doctor that studys medical can sit here and hand over Phentermine pills to my mother that just had a stroke and dont take care of her health one bit. Its a shame that a doctor like this will just hand anyone and drug they want. I will be filing a complaint against his Lic the BBB and every other way I can this doctor is about to kill my mother and is still handing anything she asks for SMH
You can do ultrasounds and blood checkups all in one place. Its convenient and you dont have to go to a test lab.Of course, the visit itself is nothing special. Dr. Cho spends about 5 minutes with me, writes a prescription, and sends me on the way. I wish he would spend more time with patients. Well, now that I have Kaiser, I am leaving. Thanks for the transition in the mixup of the Health Care Act!
First DR I encountered who didnt want to drain my pockets, no testing that was unnecessary. He listens to what you have to say and does his best to help. Im so happy I found Dr.Cho. With the right communication on your part Im sure he will get the job done. Thank you DR
*3 and a half stars, if I could. Dr. Cho was assigned to me by MediCal, and because most of his reviews are godawful, I was tempted to switch doctors immediately. Ive since had about 5 visits with him, and my conclusion thus far is: hes a decent doctor, not at all friendly, but not mean, per say, just direct and not personable.Cons: the office has a chaotic, cramped, wedontreallycareaboutyou vibe. On a busy day, youll have middleaged Korean ladies just cut you in line. The staff are not friendly in the slightest this office does not understand the concept of making the patient feel welcome and safe. They ask you to be there early, and then are always behind schedule (unless youre one of the very first patients of the morning, you will be waiting at least a half hour). For referrals, they dont bother finding the specialist for you they write you the referral slip and tell you to find one yourself. Dr. Cho is always in a hurry and will only give you 5 minutes of his time (meaning that they overbook their appointments for profit). He is not warm, friendly, comforting he is very direct, and has no interest in your reasons for being unwell. Examples: he criticized my dental health (not his place) and dismissed my valid reason for my dental issues (a reason which my actual dentist acknowledges). He also enjoys reminding me to lose weight, and when I remind him that my inherited hormone condition makes this nearly impossible without medication, he just repeats his weight loss suggestion. No, I dont expect him to be an expert on the condition, but nearly 10% of all women in the world have it, and as with things like diabetes and hypertension, all doctors should have SOME basic, current understanding of the disease. Dr. Cho does not care he just wants to get to the point and get out.Pros: I actually think hes a pretty good doctor. Hes addressed every concern Ive had thus far. When I needed an OBGYN referral he immediately wrote me one. When I needed an ultrasound, bloodwork, etc, he immediately ordered them. I was concerned about abdominal pain and he discovered I had a gallstone (which a previous doctor had not found). He gave me a prescription which I really needed, and also renewed another one until I could see the specialist. Over all: the office atmosphere is a mess, and no one is warm and friendly; the wait is often long; the receptionists are hard to understand over the phone; and the doctor does not care to get to know you in the slightest. However, if you need good quality care and can handle a less than pleasant visit experience, Dr. Cho is (so far) a capable and efficient doctor. Just dont expect any sympathy.
Initially going to this place off the bat I had issues with. (The only reason I had gone was because I needed my Inhalers refilled) The overall place was not exactly what I was accustomed to especially considering I had always gone to places like Kaiser and Palo Alto Med. but I tried to keep and open mind about it and just went in. At first I had been happy that they were able to schedule me the same day that i had called, but looking back I think I should have taken it as my first warning sign. When it came to my first appointment the nurse took all of the vitals which of course is standard, but once that was done it was like she expected me to know where I was going. I was given no instruction as to where to wait until some time later. Then when Dr Cho showed up there was only a simple piece of paper that he would right on. He would ask me the same questions over and over again and then FINALLY asked why I came in. I told him I needed a refill of Albuterol and so went and made some scribbles on a piece of note paper and handed it to me with no instruction as to what to do with it. After less then 5 minutes he tells me that he wants to see me again the next week to do tests for Diabetes, etc which was ok since I have several health issues within my lineage that need to be checked on so I agreed to it. He then had a nurse come in to take my blood sugar which was whatever but then once she was done she did not even say ok youre good to go or anything! I waited an unnecessary 10 minutes because no one bothered to tell me that they were done. Visit #2..the last visitI had been debating as to whether or not I wanted to cancel this appointment or not but had decided against better judgement not to since maybe they were just having a bad day or something. So, going in it took forever to finally be seen because they were surprisingly packed. All during my wait time I would hear complaints from other patients such as why do i have to schedule an appointment every month or is this really necessary. Once I was seen It took again forever to finally have Dr. Cho come in and see me which was only for a minute, in which time he said that I also had to get an xray. WHY DO I NEED AN XRAY FOR???? Just because I have a cold that I had contracted AFTER coming into your facilities?? After everything was done and I had gone to the room to get the xray (grudgingly) I had to change in a tiny little closet! then after the xray was done the xray person tells me oh you can change in here no one will come in mind you the xray room had a HUGE open window! Like how unprofessional can you be? After this visit I never went again. Today I just received my claims from my insurance and although I didnt have to pay a thing my insurance ended up having to shell out $1000 for those 2 visits combined! It was a ridiculous especially for such poor professionalism. NEVER WILL I EVER BE RETURNING and I HIGHLY advise everyone to never go to this SCAM of a Dr.
