List of Manisha Panchal's Reviews
We've been with Dr. Panchal for about 1 year after our regular Pediatrician moved out of state.I honestly really like her. She's calm, gentle and very relatable. She never goes over board with prescribing medication right off the bat- rather she really takes her time to evaluate, recommend a few things before talking about prescriptions.I feel great having my little one being taken care by Dr. Panchal when I go blank and don't know what to do.
Dr.Panchal has a special way of connecting with her patients and families. Highly recommend her!
Not sure why she has great reviews, but my experience with her was far from it. I had the most caring OB with great bedside manner who listened to me and always had my best interests in mind. Then the mother-baby nurses at El Camino Hospital were absolutely amazing. They were patient, compassionate, and caring. The lactation nurse consultant was also so kind and understanding. I was surrounded by all of the most supportive healthcare professionals, and then there was Dr. Panchal. I did not choose Dr. Panchal to be my newborn's pediatrician (THANK GOD). She was just the doctor from our medical group making rounds at the hospital on our pediatrician's behalf. I had a c-section and struggled to breastfeed while at the hospital so my son lost weight the first few days. Dr. Panchal told me I needed to supplement with formula, the mother-baby nurse told us to give a little at a time or baby might spit it all up, the lactation nurse advised me to use an SNS to avoid nipple confusion.....As a first time mom, I was overwhelmed with what to do and bombarded with advice from every which direction. The moment I'll never forget though is when Dr. Panchal scolded me for listening to others instead of her. And she told me that if my son doesn't gain weight, it would be MY FAULT he goes to the NICU and specifically NOT HERS. What a way to push me down the path of postpartum depression! I couldn't shake that feeling for weeks -- that I was failing as a mom and that every one of my decisions might end up harming my baby. Every time I thought back to that moment with Dr. Panchal, I would cry. Despite having complications and scary diagnoses, I still had a very positive experience with every healthcare professional I encountered throughout my pregnancy and delivery -- with the exception of Dr. Panchal. We love our current pediatrician though! She offers recommedations while also being supportive of our long term goals as a family. She takes her time to answer questions and provides context so we can make informed decisions. She is great with our baby and I never feel rushed out of her office. So unfortunate she couldn't visit our son in the hospital instead of Dr. Panchal!
I absolutely love dr Panchal. She listens all your concerns and address all of them. You can tell she loves kids and is very respectful to the parents too. I honestly don't trust any other pediatrician then Dr Panchal.
She didn't diagnose my daughter correctly and therefore my daughter hospitalized for 28 days risking her life.
Dr Panchal is my 5th pediatrician in the area. Before I found her, I was in lost. My son has a very rare genetic condition, when he was diagnosed there were only a few people in the world has it, now it is 36 kids. I knew there was something not right with my son, but I couldn’t convince his previous pediatricians. They thought that I am one of these crazy parents overly worried. They acted in that way too. Everything changed when I found dr Panchal. She carefully listened all my concerns and referred right people. My son’s condition required him to see neurologist, neorosurgean, gastrointestinal, ENT, cardiologist etc.... and she patiently tried to find the best. She is an amazing dr. It is easy to be a pediatrician if the kid develops normally, the real good ones shines when there is a problem. Dr Panchal is one of the best ones!
We went to Dr. Panchal for the travel clinic. It seems like she over subscribes medication and does not really prescribe based on individual kids. I wouldn't recommend for her travel clinic.
Dr. Panchal has been seeing my boys for many years now. She is an amazing doctor that I trust 100%. She's also great with the kids, and my boys look forward to seeing her. I drive by three other PAMF offices with many great doctors on my way to her office, but she is just that good!
very professional and nice with kids.. highly recommended.
I love love my son's pediatrician. She is my fourth pediatrician since my son was born. I guess when you have a normal develop baby, all the doctors seem fine, but when the issues start, you need someone who can take care of your son like their own. Dr Panchal is like that. When my son started to have issues, our ex-pediatrician started to make me feel like a crazy mom. I felt anxious when I need to see him. Then I thought I need to find another pediatrician which makes me feel comfortable and helpful, and the search began. A lot of pediatrician who had good reviews were impossible to get an appointment with. Dr Panchal was recommended me by my friend, and what a huge difference she made. First of all she listened all my children's problems carefully without rushing and then she said ok you need some special help, and send us to Stanford otolaryngologist. Before that we kept going to audiologist for six times in a year without any results. It turned out, My son had water in his both ears and needed immediate surgery. For his developmental delays, she sent us to developmental pediatrician and neurology. Because of her, my son didn't loose his hearing totally and getting the help he needs. She is such a great doctor and person. If she thinks that if we need another opinion, she does right away without any ego. How all the doctors should be. I am just so happy to find her.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
