Lakeside Community Healthcare Santa Clarita's Online Review Report Card

This review is for the staff of Cheridah Seeley, not Cheridah Seeley herself. After 3 years of being a patient at Lakeside Medical in Santa Clarita, I have decided to contact a new physician. I no longer have the time or patience to spend 2-3 weeks trying to get a prescription filled or an appointment made. These girls don't appear to take their job seriously and aren't of much help. I don't believe they realize the importance of getting a message through to a physician or returning phone calls. I have time and time again been given wrong information from them. Because of their failure to follow through over and over again, I felt it was important to share this information. Unfortunately, a good doctor can receive negative feedback because of the staff that surrounds them.UPDATE: In response to 'Regal R'... the response you posted below appears to be the standard form response. If you really want to fix the problem, have someone in management call me. There are plenty of poor reviews posted here for the same reasons dating back to 2017. The same problems still exist today. In fact my situation continues to be unresolved. I still, after seeing the doctor and getting the ok to refill my prescription, 5 days later... it has not been sent to my pharmacy, myself and my pharmacy have been calling each day. This has been going on since April 7th. Today is April 20th. This is the poorest patient service I have ever received and it's been going on for several years. It's called poor work ethic.

Dr Voletti has been my kids primary doctor for about 10 years! She is absolutely the best! She always listens to Dr mom & is so incredibly kind and caring with my kiddos! Her "bedside" manner is awesome! She's always very patient & I never feel rushed when going over my kids care. The staff is always super helpful & friendly!

The staff here are the most unprofessional I have ever seen. There's no greeting or smile of any sort every time I walk in and leave. There's always attitude in their voices and sighs when I interact with them as well. The medical assistant Maria was especially rude and constantly had an irritated expression during the whole visit. It was to the point where I had even asked her if she was mad about something, to which she shrugged off. While they treat patients like this, they are quite comfortable with each other and are constantly making a lot of noise with their loud personal conversations.

Dr. Fernandez, Dr. Brenner, and Dr. Vu have always been there for me.  They address my issues and I'm never rushed.  Lisa is absolutely fantastic!  She recognizes the importance of getting the needed referrals as quickly as possible.  It can get quite complicated sometimes, especially going back and forth between specialists, but I'm so thankful that Lisa is there to make it so much easier to deal with.

I Had an appointment in the office again last Monday 28th as always my doctor was vey attentive and caring.  When I was done he wanted to see me again in 6 weeks so I went to the front office, where Michelle was helping me to schedule an appointment. I scheduled the appointment but I told Michelle I might have to call back to reschedule due to another appointment that I have, but I would have to go home first to check.  I asked Michelle if she could ask Dr. Teshome if I could be a week late with my appointment just in case and she said ok.  I told her just to forget it, I didn't want to bother him since he was already with another patient and I would just have to work out my other appointment.  Unfortunately, when I got home and checked with my driver I was not going to be able to change the other appointment, so I called Michelle immediately and told her that I was going to have to reschedule the appointment I had already made.  I was so amazed.....not only did she save a date and time for me but she also had already asked Dr. Teshome just in case I needed to call back to reschedule.  Michelle thank you so much for all you do. I truly do appreciate it and look forward to my appointments because of how much you all go out of your way to make sure my experiences are great ones.  I really do hope the management team see's how much of a difference you make in your patients life's.  And Kuddos to them as well for hiring such competent individuals as yourself.  I look forward to seeing you soon.I apologize for just sending this, I tried right away.  Unfortunately, my internet service company was doing an update system for awhile and no one around here had service.  I will see you all soon!K. Dr. Vasanti Voleti is the most compassionate doctor i have met. She not only cares for your concerns but makes you feel at ease.  She really is an Angel.  I can't express my gratitude to her in words for the excellent customer service she provided for my daughter.  I'm staying with Lakeside because of Dr. Voleti. Thank you dear Doctor Voleti, you are the BEST.

This was the worst experience at a doctor's office ever. I had an appointment at 815am but called to inform them i would be 15min late because a accident on the freeway. They told me I would already be late by 8am because I was a new patient and they allow a 15min grace period but because I'm new I don't get that grace, so I said well then wouldn't it make sense to have made my appointment at 8am rather than telling me 815 if that's not accurate..No response to that from them but repeatedly stating I'm a new patient..So they also stated I would have to reschedule and I stated im already in the city I live an hour away . They responded that I could speak to the doctor when I arrive WHO WOULDN'T EVEN COME SPEAK TO ME once I arrived and In alot of   pain. So I asked could I wait for the next availability but was denied and told I had to come back a whole month later and couldn't wait for any cancellations or no shows IN THERE VERY EMPTY OFFICE. So I left if pain and very disturbed at the lack of care and concern/respect from a so called medical professional who allegedly care about your well being ! THERE'S NOTHING WORST WHEN YOUR IN PAIN OR SICK THAN A DOCTOR WHO LEGIT DOES NOT CARE ABOUT A PATIENT !!!

I've been a patient with Lakeside for as long as I can remember.  My current doctor, Dr. Andrea Vu is absolutely amazing!  She takes the time to listen to you and handles her job with kindness and professionalism.  I am going to miss Ivy at the front desk, but the rest of the admin staff is always there to help.  I'll be there for life.Thank you!

I'm giving them 5 stars just for the simple fact that lakeside has decided to rid themselves of Dr. James, this woman is dangerous to the medical community and should really consider a different career. I'm still traumatized after my visit with her. The front office staff are great! Friendly, professional and on top of things. The physicians here are good and they are always willing to squeeze you in with no appt.

I came to Lakeside Community Healthcare based on my sister's advice, she has been Dr Calvin Hung's patient for few years. She spoke very highly of his professionalism, patience and work ethics, as well of his office staff. We are new to this office and were not sure what service to expect. I visited Dr Eric Fernandez and I was very please with the level of customer service he provided, he was very patient took his time to learn my history and addressed every concern I had, when I called to ask a question, they returned my call within few hours.Last week my husband had a serious accident at work, we went to the emergency room, they recommended surgery on his hand as soon as possible. I panicked, we have an HMO and I was not sure how long it will take to get the approval for the surgery. We called the office, the staff got us in within hours to see Dr Calvin Hung. He examined my husband's hand and realized that time was of the essence to get him to a specialist. He instructed his staff to get the referral to the "hand specialist" immediately. They were all working together as a team to get the job done. The next morning Lisa called to let us know that he has been approved, she also called the specialist's office and explain the gravity of the situation so they got us in the same day. We needed another referral to do the surgery, I called Lisa and asked for her help again, she went above and beyond her duties in helping us out navigate the process. We are forever grateful to Dr Calvin Hung and his staff (Lisa, Ivy, Kristin and Jessica) they went beyond the call of duty to make sure he got the best possible medical care to save his hand.Thank you for you dedication and hard workH & R Short
