Dr. Atkins and her staff are wonderful. I've had such horrible service from other providers that my expectations were low. What a pleasant surprise... not only was I able to get an appointment within a week, but the office is great at communicating with me -- they call back when they say they will, and they take the time to explain things thoroughly. I also never had to call for a follow-up appointment. They called ME. Dr. Atkins has a great manner. I felt like she really listened to me. And she didn't make me feel bad about my life choices (junk food eating, non-exercising workaholic). She gave me the information and hope to turn my health around. I have a lot of work to do, but I feel empowered and optimistic.

Terrible experience with this doc! She asked me questions about my health and then billed me for services outside of the scope of preventative care. Beware when seeing Dr. Atkins....you may want to refrain from answering her questions unless you are prepared for the bill to follow. She also ordered extra tests that were unessary and then billed for those as well...feels like a doctor who has a quota to meet.

Excellent beside manner. She actually pauses and asks if there is anything else you want to ask while you are in the office. I never feel rushed or pushed out the door.
