List of Gordon Lee's Reviews
The receptionist is self centered rude opinionated and behaves like an authoritarian. Shes not even a medical professional and essentially acts as the buffer to the doctor and violates all ethical standards by withholding medical care on her self appointed authority.
totally excellent
Super thorough and helpful doctor. The receptionist looked up past history quickly and was nice.
I had colon cancer nearly 18 years ago. Dr. Lee has been my go-to doctor for my many colonoscopies that I have been required to have post surgery and chemotherapy. I have had nothing but very positive experiences, never any discomfort, and Dr. Lee has always been the utmost professional. I am readying for yet another colonoscopy and was so glad to see that Dr. Lee is still at the helm. Alexandra Sanders
I have to say that the idea of having a colonoscopy was not a pleasant one. The reason why I am writing this review is because it turned out to be nothing like I expected. From the friendly, funny receptionist, who made me feel at ease, to Dr. Lee's professional manner, and the surgery centers friendly staff, I would recommend this office to anyone who needs this done.
I called Dr. Lee's office and asked if he was taking new patients. The receptionist seemed to hesitate and then said, "yes, but...." and then went on to explain that I needed a referral to see him and some other things that I didn't quite understand. My insurance allows me to see whomever I like and doesn't require a referral. I told the receptionist that it all sounded a bit complicated and it probably wouldn't work for me and she said it was not complicated and hung up on me. Someone else wrote a review and mentioned a negative interaction with the call taker. Maybe Dr. Lee is a good doctor, but he needs a new receptionist. First impressions are very important and if your staff treats people in this manner, I would never feel comfortable going there.
I have heard great things about Dr. Lee and have been told he is a great doctor and a very nice person, however his receptionist is extremely rude and very unprofessional. My doctor referred me to his office and the receptionist refused to schedule me an appointment making excuses such as them not taking my insurance (which is not true, I have Medicare and they take that) She also said that I needed to see my previous GI doctor that I had last seen over 5 years ago and that they are extremely busy and will not schedule me and that I needed to go some place else. I was shocked by her behavior. The front desk staff is extremely ill-mannered and incompetent and although Dr. Lee was highly recommended, I will now be going to another doctor.
I found a totally different experience with Dr. Lee's office. He was a fabulous doctor explained everything, listened well, and seemed very knowledgeable. As for the receptionist, not sure if it was the same one these people had experiences with, but she was eager to explain any concerns I had and set me at ease when I was feeling a little apprehensive about the whole experience. I would recommend this office to anyone who wants to feel cared for and heard as a patient.
This was my second colonoscopy. My first doctor had retired. Dr. Lee is not open to patient information. During my second colonoscopy by him I was in lots of pain and repeatedly informed him of this. He ignored my pain. Since I had a previous colonoscopy I know that this much pain was not necessary. I have not returned and would not recommend Dr. Lee.
Was referred to Dr. Lee for colonoscopy because my previous doctor had retired. During procedure I informed the doctor that the pain was extreme (since I had a previous colonoscopy I was aware of experience). He dismissed my complaint showing no concern for my pain. I repeated my concerns and he continued the procedure without any compassion for my extreme discomfort.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
