Gordon Lee's Online Review Report Card

I just had my first colonoscopy with Dr. Lee today.  I must say that this was one of the most pleasant medical procedures I've ever had and I've had a few...I was awake during the procedure discussing zoom lenses and bird photography while watching the doctor travel through my innards on the monitor.  Dr. Lee was gentle and kind and very knowledgeable.  Everyone at SC Surgery was friendly and reassuring.  They even used cloth gowns and kept me warm and cozy.  I also want to say Kim the office manager was awesome.  She was patient with all of my questions and I had quite a few.  I highly recommend Dr. Lee and his staff.

The office manager- fit me in on the day I called as a new patient!!! She could tell I needed to see a doctor asap and she made it happen. I appreciated her no nonsense approach, her understanding of my situation and her quick action. (I realize not everyone likes this in a woman, I love it!) Dr.Lee is very kind and communicated clearly my options, then he also scheduled me for treatment ASAP. Good people, great service.

My consultation with Dr. Lee was good. He listened to my esophagus concerns and scheduled an endoscopy for later in the week at the neighboring surgery center. The assistants at the procedure were attentive and cheerful. I got the impression they really cared. Very helpful and explained everything to me. Dr. Less was all business and got right to the procedure. Dr. Less's receptionist at the office was just fine by me. I wouldn't even mention her except for the negative reviews people posted below. No problem, good vibes all the way around with my visit.

The receptionist is self centered rude opinionated and behaves like an authoritarian. Shes not even a medical professional and essentially acts as the buffer to the doctor and violates all ethical standards by withholding medical care on her self appointed authority.

I had a cervical multisegment fusion. A growth was noted on my thalamus gland. I was referred to dr Lee today for a biopsy. I waited an hr in an empty waiting room standard I suppose. The secretary Jennifer had a notable cough. The notable formalities of intake form didn't ask me of my meds which upon getting my email from them said to note.Dr Lee finally came in extremely over animated To such a degree that I felt he was on something. This was hardly a funny manner as I was coming in for a biopsy after cervical surgery putting in 2 brackets and screws. At the time of surgery he was performing an operation next too mine as dr herruhurr was preforming mine he was called in to look at it. Today I asked why not the biopsy then and he over exaggerating my said to the point laughingly said well I'd be sued. Myself listening was non emotive and he asked are you okay would you rather see another doctor?  So meanly and arrogantly I said no let's get this done . What a horrible experience I can't stop thinking about it !

I had colon cancer nearly 18 years ago. Dr. Lee has been my go-to doctor for my many colonoscopies that I have been required to have post surgery and chemotherapy. I have had nothing but very positive experiences, never any discomfort, and Dr. Lee has always been the utmost professional. I am readying for yet another colonoscopy and was so glad to see that Dr. Lee is still at the helm. Alexandra Sanders

So once again I got a call back today from the doctors office the reception course was not as rude as last time and apparently she said something to the fact that that these doctors office will not probably suit me well.  Of course I've been waiting for sometime and I waited almost over a year and I've been getting the runaround with Doctors I have to say I am very disappointed and also with my current General doctor I don't understand I am dumbfounded it is completely ridiculous when I attempted to ask she was about to say something and then she hung up I cannot believe the crud is going on no one should have to go through this just to get some help if you're sick
