List of Maria Mead's Reviews
Dr. Mead is a fantastic doctor--caring and professional. Her clinic is a bit hectic but she is worth it. The staff there is helpful but there always seems to be a lot of chaos going on. But again, worth it! I have followed her from another clinic over a decade ago and I'm so glad I did. She's the best. I get excellent care from Dr. Mead.
Dr. Mead's treated my sister (Katie) for almost 2 yrs with Suboxone for heroin addiction. This led to Suboxone, heroin and meth addiction simultaneously > dangerously high tolerances. The Suboxone Katie could spare, she sold at $8 per pill to pay for heroin. Several attempts to contact Dr. Mead to discuss Katie's treatment ignored. My sister went from ~130 lbs, still holding down a job to ~85 lbs, battered and bruised, homeless, jobless, carless, and spent almost a week in ICU after a near death medical emergency brought on by drug use. She's now unrecognizable, bone structure is forever changed, mind is gone, no job, in and out of jail, and still addicted to meth and Suboxone (2 months clean from heroin). Just last week, Katie confided that she never should have listened to Dr. Mead who continued to push Suboxone on her despite her questioning it several times. Is Dr. Mead getting a cut from pharma companies to push this addictive drug?
Dr. Mead has to be one of the most caring doctors I've met. She always goes above and beyond a normal task of a doctor. Just talking to her lets you know she really does care and not just there doing a job. I dont think theres anything you can do to improve the treatment she offers........other than maybe donate more funds to the womans health center and not restrict her to limited treatments she can prescribe. (Insurance's fault...not hers)Everytime I leave her office no matter what is wrong with me or how bad I'm feeling......I walk away with full confidence that I will recover and have gotten the best treatment possible.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
