In 2020 Dr. Yen performed a delicate and tricky operation near my eye and temple area, as well as I hoped for, and as well as by the expert, he's recognized to be! With nearly co-located nerves and muscles that could lead to facial distortions after the operation, if not perfectly completed, I was thrilled with total success!I went to him because he previously removed some more common cysts on my back in the previous decade.Lastly, his support staff has always treated me with utmost courtesy and respect--always.

I was supposed to have surgery done on my hand to see what was wrong w it. They told me they would have to call in a plastic surgeon. And then this clown shows up to look at my hand, supposed to b one of the best plastic surgeons in the area. He was very rude and his attitude was horrible, so horrible I ended up walking out of Dominican hospital without being discharged, chancing losing my hand. He may b well received as a surgeon, but his attitude is not even worth the aggravation.

This guy is a total Hack! He told me in person that a surgery was not needed and it was purely cosmetic. I just read his voice visit notes a few years later, and he goes on and on how important the surgery would be for me! Scary! Is this guy ok?

After being diagnosed with DCIS Breast Cancer, making the decision to amputate both breasts due to my young age, I could not have found a better team than Dr. Jessica Sanitllano (general surgeon) and Dr. Thomas Yen. Dr. Yen is generous with his time, thoughtful with his answers, and puts a lot of decisions in your own hands. He operated on me a total of three times, and saw me a number of times in the office, and each experience gave me the impression I was under the care of the best in SC.

I am very thankful for Dr. Yen's medical interest in my cancer case and in his personal compassion. He and his staff are very friendly and want to help their patients. He is willing to answer any and all questions without time constraints. He performed my surgery, and recommended me to another specialist because he felt my continuing treatment was out of his realm.
