List of Timothy Blakeslee's Reviews
He is excellent! I shattered my foot—he set it, put in a plate and screws and it is now good as new (I was 72 at the time). He also felt there was something else wrong with my bones and was instrumental in my multiple myeloma diagnosis—responsible for me getting treatment and I am now doing quite well (he may have saved my life). Last year I had an ingrown toenail that had become infected. He removed a portion of the nail, resolved the problem and did such an excellent job I only needed a topical antibiotic (due to my MM it’s better if I don’t take an antibiotic.) I would certainly see him again for similar problems and I recommend him highly.
I went to see Dr. Blakeslee in August, 2020. I had had pain in my feet/ankles for the past year and it was getting worse severely restriction my activities (gym, hiking with the dog, just plain walking). I had earlier seen a GP and nothing came of it save a referral to Dr. Blakeslee. I was actually very distraught by my condition as I thought it was degenerative bone disease or osteo-arthritis or a lack of cartilage, something that would severely limit my active life. After an examination and review of x-rays and review of my gait, Dr. Blakeslee told me the ankle joints were healthy and my problem was due to flat feet and a falling arch. The cure, shoe inserts and special flip flops, no surgery, no prescriptions, no end of my active life. The Doctor then provided me with a list of providers of the said inserts and flip flops of which I purchased. Three weeks later, the pain is gone and I am back to normal for the first time in ages!
He was rude. Spoke down to my son and husband. Cussed at them. Said he would break the piece of $#_+ shoes we had just purchased for our son because they were no good. (Even though the added support and cushion of them was already helping my sons foot to heal) We will NEVER, go back to him again. Choose abother Dr. Unless you dont mind being belittled and disrepected for not following hus directions as he sees appropriate. I cant believe we have to pay hundreds of dollars for that visit to him flipping out on us.
My son's surgery was canceled late afternoon prior to his surgery. His response was my son's BMI was too high even though he's a very healthy individual. I personally did not find him knowledgeable and we're currently working on looking for another surgeon who is qualified and doesn't cancel surgeries the day before with such a rude excuse. This so called doctor scheduled this surgery 6 weeks ago. Yet he calls it off the day before!!! For shame!!
Helps other physicians cover up their mistakes and poor outcomes, leaving wounded patients with no good answers. This entire office has a very dark side not seen by all that walk in through the door, sometimes until it's too late. There is versed abuse at Sutter Maternity. All the doctors know and keep it on the down low. Get your consent form to read and amend before the date of surgery if you choose to have one here and don't expect HIPAA to protect your privacy unless you document breaches and complain to HHS. Abuse of patients (especially low income) is routine in this office, almost to the level of sport. Not all patients have these experiences, but those that do realize too late how their health has been harmed to generate revenue.
Dr. Blakeslee diagnosed my foot pain as plantar fasciitis (PF) without an x-ray or MRI even though with PF, other than having foot pain, my other symptoms didn’t match up. I tried at several different visits to get him to hear that I didn’t have worse pain in the morning, and that the pain was in a very different spot than PF but he insisted that it didn’t matter. After steroid injections, physical therapy and other measures didn’t alleviate the pain, I insisted on an MRi only to find out that indeed I didn’t have PF at all but in fact, had Baxter’s Neuritis. He seemed irritated that I wasn’t responding to the treatment he prescribed and unable acknowledge that his diagnosis was wrong. I’ve since sought treatment elsewhere and now that I’m getting the proper treatment, I’m seeing improvement.

Two tears ago I visited doctor Blaskeslee with chronic foot pain and he didn't even look or examen my feet. He simply told me to buy better shoes. Yesterday, I visited a different doctor because what doctor Blakeslee said to do didn't help. I got X-rays and they showed I had arthritis in both on my feet. I am 15 years old living in pain everyday because this man didn't do his job.
Wow, just wow! What an experience. My first time seeing this doctor he introduced himself very rudely (most likely because my sexual orientation) but I tried to make the best of the situation. During my procedure he began with inserting large needles into my neck which injected an unknown fluid to this day I am unaware of what it was. I can only imagine this substance was a form of painkiller because once he started repeatably hitting my leg with a metal mallet I lost all feeling in my legs. After this procedure I had to preformed self amputation on my right foot with a spatula because of the immense pain I was in. Looking back this was probably a very poor decision to go with this doctor and I do not recommend anyone going to see him.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
