List of Eric Jahnke's Reviews
He has been my Gastrologist for at least 5 years .. I finally got a diagnosis after only a few visits .. he's been wondering with following up on my future visits.. .I am sad to say he's retired a few months ago..
Pretty incompetent lazy staff whose accent and diction explain everything. Sign of the times
Incompetant worthless staff. Medical discrepancies during every single interaction with this office!! Staff does not put patients first. They are more concerned about going to lunch. This office fails to follow up on patient requests. Inadequte care performed by unqualified nurses.
The address on their website is incorrect, and has been for months, if not longer. If you ask Siri for directions, you will end up in the wrong location. But wait, you don’t know it’s the wrong location so you keep circling and thinking you are doing something wrong. When you finally call to say you’ve missed your appointment because you can’t find the building, you are told the real address. At this point, you might be so frustrated that you don’t care about anything. The receptionist asks you why didn’t you call to find out the real address. You let her know that you didn’t know the address on their website was wrong. To not take the time to update the address on their own website can certainly cause upset and frustration as well as a lack of confidence in the doctor and the office.
Dr. Jahnke has been my gastroenterologist for many years. Finding a doc who performs required procedures efficiently, finds and corrects anomalies when necessary, provides explanations in an understandable language, AND is pleasant and attentive to my concerns is a godsend. Thanks, doc! [This form has returned the third time. Was I supposed to repeat my answers?]
I have had great experiences with the staff and Dr. They have kept me on my toes with reminders and check ins. They have been thorough, kind and most professional.
I have been seeing Dr Jahnke for at least 15 years. He is always pleasant and very caring and spends all the time you need with you. He won't stop testing until he finds the problem. He even follows up with blood tests to make sure your problem hasn't effected anything else. Would have given 5 stars if it didn't take so long to get an appointment. Not enough great doctors in the area I guess. Also, in all the years I've been seeing him I have never had a problem with any of the staff.
This Dr. office has been my worst experience. They are rude, unprofessional, and disorganized. To start off the receptionist (I believe Ariel) was extremely condescending and had a huge attitude. The Dr. I saw ( Dr.Jahnke) is a completely other story. I did the tests he ordered and when I called for results I was told he went on vacation for 2 weeks, but was answering messages while he was away. In the next 5 weeks I called 10 times and still had not heard back from him regarding my results. The receptionist ended up having to tell me my results and I scheduled another appointment since Dr.Jahnke wasn't responding to tell me what he recommended as my next steps. After a 2 and a half month wait for my next appt I finally saw him today. It was so bad I decided to write a review. 1. The receptionist tried to charge me a $40copay that my insurance did not require.2.They did not have my results under my file even though I had called multiple times about my results.3. Dr.Jahnke walks in without my results so he has to go back out to find them. Comes back with an incomplete list. 4. He asks me why I didn't take further actions after finding out my results and I said that he never called back to tell me what I should do. He expected the receptionist to have told me when I called and got the results from her.5. Now I start to tell him how I am frustrated by this situation and how I tried so many times to get ahold of him and never got a response. I tell him he told me he would call me with my results which he never did and it made me schedule another appointment so I could finally hear from him.6. He stands up and tells me I need better communication and should find another dr. I am surprised now because I have tried to have communication and I just want to talk to him about whats happened to me so I question what he's telling me because I called 10 times trying to hear from him. He tells me I need a dr that can communicate the way I want. I say I don't want another Dr. I just want to know what the next steps are. He says there are no next steps because he is not helping me anymore and then directs me out of the room.7. I go to the receptionist to find my missing results and she says that I have all of them. I say thats not true and she gets (what I am guessing is) her supervisor. She repeats I have all my tests but I tell her I took tests at two different centers because I had to leave town and I only have the results from 1. She said I only did it at one. I assure her I know I did it at 2 and that I was missing a series test. She looks and then tells me I am right that she didn't see that. Then tells me I need to go get my results on my own from the center that they can't do anything.I know this review is very long, but I feel it shows qualities of this business that should make customers seek elsewhere for help. I have only had negative experiences here and while I am seeking help for whats wrong- I hope to have a comforting, helpful, happy experience. Hopefully this will convince you to not waste your time here.
Dr Jahnke has always answered all of my questions thoroughly and listened patiently to my concerns. He is genuinely concerned with my health issues. He is easy to talk to and I feel very fortunate to have found such a compassionate physician.
The staff is horrible and if they have a problem with you they refuse to see you for good.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
