List of Han Soo Kim's Reviews
Seeing Dr. Kim was fantastic, but after the fact when directly asking about what must be done for disability purposes the staff never notified us that we had to walk in and pick up paperwork and literally put one stamp on the envelope THEY provided and had to walk it to the mail box. This doesn’t make sense to make someone who has just had surgery drive to walk in and put our own stamp on it! To make it even worse we were never called to do this part and the person who was suppose to notify us did not! It’s Dec. 15. This means after already waiting one month for disability pay we are now waiting at least another 15 days or longer for pay! How are people suppose to buy groceries and pay bills when the ball is dropped! Someone in the office should be overseeing that this is all being done! I know none of them would appreciate their “Boss” forgetting to pay them and forgetting during the holidays! To say I’m livid is an understatement. Change your protocols.
Wait time was long but they were just very busy Staff were friendly
I don’t understand the negative reviews- Dr. Kim is seriously the best. He’s thorough, efficient with his time (and therefore our time), and kind. I don’t feel he rushed to recommend surgery at all, but did more conservative treatments first, and listened to my wants on the matter. I highly recommend him.
Several people scheduled at once. Office nurse was not helpful. Receptionist was. Had illiostomy and no one knew where to get supply's.
This doctor, and his staff, discriminate against patients who have Service Dogs for psychological disorders. The office staff made me sit in their waiting room for over an hour, only to be told they would not treat me because I had a Service Dog. Now I must take my broken wrist to a doctor who respects and honors The ADA. American Disabilities Act.
I can't really rate the doctor although I had heard good things about him. I was never able to actually make an appointment because his office staff would not allow me to make one with the doctor. I was told because I had seen another hand doctor almost a year ago that I must get the records from there first in order to make an appointment. Mind you, I'm not seeing that doctor or currently under his care. My primary doctor sent a new X-ray and a referral to them but not good enough I guess.
As far as his expertise I have no complaints, as far as the total time between two visits to his office and and the surgery day, that was very frustrating! It was definitely over an hour each one of my visits. From what I was gathering from others, they too were frustrated to say the least in this area. The day of surgery I was asked to come in asap because of cancellations. I did so AND then waited in the hospital bed all prepped for 2 PLUS hours! My surgery and results went fine.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
