Dr. Haverty is a very kind, knowledgeable and compassionate doctor. He has a great bed side manner and listens to what you have to say. So many doctors rush through their appointments. Dr. Haverty puts you at ease like a good friend would do. His gentle manner puts you at ease with your concerns as well. I think he’s the best GP on the central coast and wouldn’t go anywhere else. His staff is also very kind and accommodating. 🙂

He takes his time with you and explains everything very clearly and with examples that make thinks simple to comprehend. Has been my doctor since 86 for the whole family and now just myself. Followed him to about 3 offices over the years and still see him now that I live in San Luis Obispo. He is worth the drive.

I have been going to Dr Haverty since I moved from LA to Santa Maria in 2004. Dr Haverty sees me my son n mom. He has been so good to us. He listens doesn’t rush the visit. If he can’t figure out what’s wrong with you (which is almost never) he will send you to a specialist. Being from LA the hustle and bustle all my experiences with Dr. have been awful compare to dr Haverty. I’m so glad I found Dr Haverty n would never change. He’s staff has been great. Annett n Becky are so nice. They know me by name n when I call they recognize my voice. Love them. They treat us like family. The last couple years they’ve had staff come n go but I think they finally got the right team. I never wait for more then 5 min. N we never had a visit last more then 30 min in n out. Unless we have several questions. Offices are clean. Keep up the good work Ladies!!

Dr. Haverty is great. My three star review is the result of being dropped as a patient because I don't go to the doctor enough. I tried to make an appointment for a treatment that the Dr had provided me in the past, because he therefore had my history. I was basically told that it had been so long since I'd seen the Doctor, that I was considered a new patient and he wasn't taking new patients... Really? I'm... too healthy? SMH

I recently moved back home to the Santa Maria area after living out-of-state for several years. I really didn't like the first doctor I established with so, a friend recommended Dr. Haverty. I immediately loved him! I've learned since moving back, that it's hard to find any doctor that takes quality time with their patients and also not approach patients as "one size fits all" practice. Well, Dr. Haverty is that one of a kind rare doctor that does. He was very thorough, and I left feeling relaxed and comfortable with the plan of care we developed together.

Dr Haverty has been my Dr. since i moved to Santa Maria 15 years ago. My insurance changed a couple of times, I had to change Doctors. Not happy. As soon as I could I went back to his office. The staff is awesome. Dr Haverty takes his time n listens to your problems. Never rushed. N willing to send you to specialist if he can’t solve your illness. The wait time to see him never exceeds 5 min. Recommend. He takes care of my 13 year old, me 51 n my mom who is 76.

We have been so blessed to be patients of Dr Haverty's. He is so thorough and takes so much time with his patients, never rushes through. He listens and wants you to understand, takes time to explain things in an easy to understand way. He is extremely knowledgeable and has often given better medical answers and advice/treatment than the 'specialists' we have seen. The office staff are also amazing; very friendly and helpful.

Dr Haverty is the BEST! He is patient, kind and a very good listener. He is very knowledgeable but if he doesn't know something, he will learn about it. I have been seeing Dr Haverty for about 7 years and wouldn't want to go anywhere else! The office can be busy, but the office staff has always been great. I would highly recommend him!!
