Nathan Steinle's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Steinle is a 5 star plus Dr. He has helped me immensely. When I first started with him the sight in my left eye was 20/30. Now it is 20/20. My right was 20/200 now it is 20/100. Slowly but surely getting better. My last Dr. was inept as far as I am concerned. Person shall remain nameless. At any rate I am very happy now. My condition is bleeding behind Retina. Dr. Steinle is very talented in doing what he needs to do for me. Painless shots. God Bless anyone with eye problems. Maybe Dr. Steinle can help you. As a lawyer and competitive shooter who does NOT play the saxophone, piano, or any other musical instrument except maybe kazoo, I kind of need my eyes. So I was concerned when advised by several eye doctors that i needed laser treatment. Moreover, like many others my respect for physicians (generally) has dimished over the last year or so. But i was pleasantly surprised and satisfied with every aspect of my counsel and treatment by Dr Steinle. Honestly, it was the best physician interaction i can recall, ever. He took the time to answer my detailed questions and instead of just telling me not to worry, that it's safe, &c, he actually gave me the knowledge i needed to know it was safe. I was completely at ease through the treatment and everything went fine. Plus, he personally followed up with me to make sure of that. Awesome doc!

I was referred to dr. Steinle for a detached retina, he took care of the problem and explained the whole process making it so easy to understand, he takes time with his patients and makes you feel at ease.

If I could post 6+ stars, I would! Dr. Steinle is a person of substance: personable, kind, compassionate, and committed to his patients. As an outstanding, educated, and knowledgeable Retina Specialist, he is second to none! After every appointment, my heart does a happy dance knowing that I am under the car of the best! I thank Dr. Steinle for my eye health. So blessed that he has helped me keep and improve my vision.

In July woke up with a “dark curtain” blocking half my vision in right eye. Was referred to Dr Steinle in Paso Roble. He saw me the next day and informed me I had a partial detached retina and needed surgery ASAP. I was very worried and completely on edge but because of his honest compassion and reassurances I made it through surgery and recovery with only slight discomfort. Since then I had one more surgery for macular pucker and the same experience. Dr Steinle and his staff are always professional , listened to and addressed any concerns I had. I have complete confidence and would recommend he and his staff to anyon who needs an Opthamologist .

I went in for a torn retina after cataract surgery. I was told by another local ophthalmologist that I needed an emergency Vitrectomy. Looking for a second opinion, I Googled California Retina Specialist and spoke to Lily. She was able to get me an immediate appointment with Dr. Steinle, he reviewed my situation and he was able to repair my retinal tear without the emergency vitrectomy! What impressed me was the Personal follow-up wellness calls by Dr. Steinle. You very rarely receive that high level of customer care from doctors. I would also like to mention the awesome staff everyone that I have been in contact at the Paso, SLO and Santa Maria offices have been fantastic! Very happy that I have such a professional group of people on my side!

Went and saw Dr. Steinle today. What a true compassionate and professional man this is. Ended up needing a couple injections in the eye and didn't feel either injection, what a pleasant surprise. His technicians were equally as competent and professional. If needing his services, check other reviews and his background, you'll be pleased to have Dr. Steinle and his staff handle your needs.

Dr. Steinle is an amazing doctor. He is incredibly focused and competent in his field, and also very kind and personable. I have complete trust in his ability to take care of my eyes.

I have know Dr. Steinle for years now. He is such a warm and compassionate doctor. You couldn't ask for a better retina surgeon or find someone who cares more for his patients.
