Do not like this man's attitude and bedside manner! Doctors that act arrogant and it's their way or the highway I can live without. 3 of 4 of my family members have seen him for various reasons. He wasn't that accurate with any of us. Looking for another Dermatologist any ideas?

This office staff and Dr. Labrecque were the rudest medical staff I have ever encountered. After waiting 1 hour to see the doctor, he came in with an intern. He spent about 2 minutes diagnosing my main issue, talking only to the intern, not to me. I had told the nurse before he entered that I had 2 worrisome spots on my skin that I wanted the doctor to look at. After the 2 minute visit he went to leave. I asked him to look at the spots. He said he was an hour behind already, and I would have to make another appointment! I told him I had already waited an hour, after waiting 3 weeks for this appointment, and it would take him a minute to check the spots. He refused. This is the second appointment he has done this to me and was unbelievably rude! I told him I would not be back, and he said "thanks for understanding", and left.

I was suffering from a severe infection of my right lower leg with terrible pain. I left Arroyo Grande Community Hospital because I had no improvement. I called Dr. Labreques's office on a Thursday and he saw me the next day in Pismo Beach. My leg looked like a piece of hamburger by then. He prescribed several medications with a detailed description of exactly how to use them. It is now two weeks later and the infection is gone and my leg is almost back to normal. I am grateful to him for the excellent treatment.

I am new to Santa Maria and am so happy I found Dr. LaBrecque. I have gone to a dermatologist for years in the area that I used to live at but Dr LaBrecque found things that were wrong with me that nobody else has ever discussed with me.

A friend and I have both seen Dr. Labreque, with different experiences. Mine was good but his was a nightmare. He had a cancerous spot removed on his nose by the doctor who did not get all of it removed. My friend ended up at another dermatologist to finish the job. Needless to say, both of us are not going back to this doctor.

Investigations found Dr. LaBrecque to be well trained and educated, plenty of experience, and professionally prepared. His staff is pleasant, office immaculate and well run. Dr. spent a considerable time with me and explained everything in easy to understand terms. He has a large practice and is difficult to get an appointment. I was very lucky to pick up a canceled appointment from the stand by list. I have a return appointment in four days for more work. Dr. L is great. (I have a minor in Biology and was an EMT)

I'm not usually one to write bad reviews but have had a horrible experience here. I took my daughter to Dr. Labreque for her Vitalago and initially the appointment went well. We received the incorrect prescription and when called never received a call back. The office staff is very unorganized and sent me to collections without even sending me a bill. Don't waste your time here, I'm returning back to Doctor Moats, who is great and has an excellent and competent office manager and receptionist.

Never encountered a Dr. this rude to his staff as well as myself. His bedside manner is non existent, I will not be going back for more disrespectful behavior.
