Dr. Johnson in Westlake Village is excellent! I am so happy that I chose him to do my foot surgery. He is very kind, compassionate and caring. I was really impressed with how communicative Dr. Johnson was, checking on me daily for the first few days post surgery, making sure I was getting through the hardest few days in the best possible condition. Thank you so much, Dr. J, that really made a positive impact in my recovery. I would definitely recommend Dr. Johnson in Westlake Village, he is the best! The office staff in his Westlake Village office are great to work with, Mercy and Reina, are very organized and make the process easy. Thank you so much for the excellent care I received! Dr. Johnson at the Westlake Village office is excellent, I am so happy that I chose him to do my foot surgery. He is really caring and compassionate, thank you, Dr. J! I was so impressed with how he communicated with me each day after my surgery to help me get through the toughest few days, that really made a positive difference in my aftercare and the overall quality of care he provided was the best! I'm really glad I chose Dr. Johnson to look at my foot problem. He took the time to explain clearly what was going on and came up with a 5-point treatment plan and my foot is feeling better already. A few years ago, I had problems with my other foot and went to an orthopedic doctor who spend about 5 minutes with me--he looked at the x-rays (he didn't let me see them) and said I needed surgery. When I said I wasn't ready for surgery, he said there was nothing he could do and to come back when I was. Dr. Johnson was completely different--he showed me the x-rays and pointed out exactly what the problems are. He spent a long time answering all my questions, then came up with a treatment plan that includes physical therapy, icing, anti-inflammatories, topical cream and custom orthotics. There is osteoarthritis in the big toe metatarsal that might need surgery at some point, but his emphasis is on seeing what can be done before resorting to surgery. What a refreshing attitude for a doctor! I've had found some doctors seem to be keyed into rushing surgery (maybe because it's more lucrative?) but Dr. Johnson seems centered on helping me heal and alleviating my pain. The staff was nice and it was easy to schedule my appointment. I recommend this doctor!
