I started seeing Dr. Giesser in 2001, after my RRMS diagnosis and not long after that, I received treatments and such. I could barely walk much at all, and with her big time help I was able to walk and she has kept me mostly steady on my feet. She's a sweetheart, always listens and gives me her honest opinion. Appointments are easy to make, her staff are wonderful as well, I get my test results always quickly. She makes you feel, like shes a small town doctor as she has the best demeanor to talk to patients and makes every single patient feel like you're her top priority patient. I could go on, ive always thought of her as a second mom. What type of doctor would give her patient her home number, in case of a emergency?? A+++++++

Dr. Barbara Giesser has been my neurologist since Janruary 2002. I've had MS since 2001, although I had many symptoms during my high school years. My orginal neurologist couldn't help me with my MS, so luckily he referred to a neurologist at UCLA, and that was Dr Giesser! She has done so much for my MS and I'm very grateful. I firmly agree believe that Dr. Giesser has saved my life. And she's such a incredible physician and a absolute wonderful person. She's kept my MS stable with the correct medications and treatments. If you need one of the best Neurologists in United States, please look for this doctor! Can't compliment her enough or her entire staff at St John's.

Dr. Giesser has both high levels clinical knowledge and compassion. She seeks my input to collaborate with me in my care. I completely trust her knowledge base, which is very important to me since I am a physician also.

Dr. Barbara Giesser is the epitome of "patient-first" care. Many of my previous doctors made me feel like I was just a number, a nuisance and rushed. Dr. Giesser is the total opposite. She's incredibly sweet, knowledgeable, comforting, patient and ATTENTIVE! She's even gone out of her way to personally call me after hours on a Friday when I had a health concern. Her doing so truly meant a lot to me. Her office staff is also super responsive. AND they have parking (unlike the rest of this darn city)! In short, she's the BEST! I highly recommend her! Lastly, I have NEVER felt pressured by Dr. G to take certain medications. In fact, I find her to be extraordinarily objective when it comes to this. My former doctors felt like Big-Pharma sales reps, which prompted me to look elsewhere. Thank goodness I found Dr. Giesser!
