List of Bob Baravarian's Reviews
Not good. I was really unhappy with my experience with the actual doctor. As many others say, the doctor must have been in the room with me no more than 2 minutes. That is not okay. Did not care to answer my questions. I felt dismissed and hurried and unimportant. He prescribed PT and said that he would send me referrals for PT, but never did. In the waiting room I waited for a long time. I was given an iPad to check myself in and the process was very long - I had to answer many questions that had nothing to do with my injury or anything that feels remotely related to podiatry. It felt like busy work to do during the long wait. Additionally, the iPad was difficult to use and I had to ask the receptionist several questions. The ironic part is that I was on crutches, so carrying an iPad back and forth to the desk while I didn't have the use of my hands was really inconvenient and frustrating. The receptionist would not let me stand at her station to fill it out.
Dr. Baravarian removed a benign but painful lesion from my big toe. Dr. Bob did an excellent job! Throughout the course of my care I was very impressed with Dr. Bob's professionalism, kindness, and efficiency. His office staff and assistants reflect his service-oriented approach and professionalism. I don't normally leave reviews or 5 stars for that matter but I wanted to share my experience so others searching for a good podiatrist can benefit.(for what it is worth I am a physician with no previous ties to this practice so this endorsement is free of bias).
I need to give a negative review. Dr. Baravarian is clearly smart but service is lacking. I needed an Achilles amniotic fluid injection which is state of the art, but I wasn't provided any specific directions for after care and I wasn't told what to expect. For example, he advised a boot but didn't provide one. Given the cost he could at least provided a boot. He was very rushed and didn't really want to take time to answer questions. The injection was expensive but unfortunately and I am worse than before the injection. That isn't Dr. Baravarian's fault because there are no guarantees in medicine. Even so, I'm seeing another podiatrist and hoping for a better outcome. The foot and ankle institute is all about selling and marketing. Just check out the website. The combination of marketing emphasis, rushed appointments, and lack of specific after care instructions are evidence that the business matters more than the person.
I rarely take the time to post, but Dr. Baravarian deserves a mayor plug. Maybe the most professional, efficient Dr that I have been treated by. On top of that he very personable. His office is so dialed in, that I can not get past 1 page in whatever magazine I try to read before I get called in. Dr. Baravarian performed surgery on my foot to cure me from Morton's Neuroma. A very painful condition that troubled me for years. The surgery went really well, and I could not be more thankful to be rid of the pain I endured for way too long. I felt in the best hands the entire time of treatment and surgery, as well as after care. Great Doc!
By far one of the best doctors I have ever met. I went to see him about my Achilles and true to his reputation, he is very experienced and has an excellent bedside manner. Would highly recommend him to my friends and family.
Dr. Bob is an excellent doctor. I learned a lot about my flat feet and abnormal foot structure through his detailed explanations. He is extremely passionate about what he does and is an excellent communicator. I found him very relatable, not just as a surgeon but as a person. He gets straight to the point without sounding blunt or arrogant.
Dr. Baravarian is extremely knowledgeable. He clearly explained several surgical approaches that could be offered to correct my bunion and the plusses and minuses of each. I Highly recommend this doctor!
Thank you so much, Dr. Baravarian, for your expertise regarding my child's feet and for providing excellent care. My son and I are both grateful for your kindness!

This is my third time seeing Dr. Bob for my plantar fasciitis pain. I found the injection he offered to be very helpful, but as he told me, it might wear off in about six months, and it did. I then decided to move forward with his initial suggestion, which was the Software procedure. And his suggested treatment has helped me tremendously. Dr. Bob is sympathetic and very patient. He explained everything to me thoroughly. Thank you, Dr Bob, for all your help.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
