List of Daniel Wohlgelernter's Reviews
I am 80 years old. I have coronary artery disease, COPD, two triple by pass surgery all before I had the opportnity,no privildge to call Dr. Dan my lfe saver. I started seeing him more than 20 years ago and owe my current heath to him. He not only very smart but is kind ,sensitive and funny. I really feel he is not only my goto doc but also a friend.
Dr. Dan is most attentive in his care, taking the time to know all my medical issues and concern for my total well being. I felt I was treated as he would treat his own family. Patient with my concerns and many questions. Deeply cared about preventing any cardiac illnesses. I fell priviledged to be under his medical care.
I must admit that I had become jaded over the years about physicians, and so when I met with Dr. Wohlgelernter--I was truly amazed by just how outstanding a physician and person he is. Not only is his fund of knowledge in new diagnostic procedures and treatment protocols very extensive-- and ability to read & interpret results much more precise than I have previously encountered, but his bedside manner, warmth and compassion are absolutely exceptional.
This Doctor prescribed me a prescription medication which is a beta blocker without explaining all the potential side effects. One year later, most of my hair has fallen out and is not growing back in - even after stopping the medication six months ago! There were other side effects, such as extreme fatigue and loss of short term memory. Please discuss all potential side effects before prescribing medication - allowing the patient to have a choice in the matter. The mental anguish and depression this has caused cannot be explained. So disappointed.Mary H.Los Angeles, CA
Dr. Dan is a top notch provider. I've been a patient for over 17 years, Dr. Dan go's the extra mile to make you feel welcome and truly cares about his patients. And he is a great doctor, the best I've personally had.
Dr. Wohlgelernter combines his extraordinary gifts as a cardiologist and physician with a bedside manner that provides you comfort and confidence you are receiving the highest quality of care. He takes copious notes and is always aware of all your healthcare issues – not just those dealing with your heart. I can recommend Dr. Wohlgelernter highly and without reservation.
Dr. Dan, is simply the best of the best. I've been a patient for over 17 years now, and i wouldn't think of going anywhere else. He is the most caring Dr. I have ever had, and makes you feel like family. He is well respected in his field from patients and Doctors alike for a reason. His staff is great too!..........."Stent Boy"

Dr. Wohlgelernter is a thorough, personable, and expert physician. His knowledge of cardiology and related areas is outstanding. In my regular check-ups we have good, detailed discussions of my condition, the science around it, the treatment / mitigation options available, and all in a frank and friendly manner. I could not recommend Dr. Wohlgelernter (Dr. Dan) more highly!
I am a physician, practicing in the same community as Dr "Dan" and as such, I have interaction with a number of cardiologists. I am a patient of his and refer others to him. His knowledge and experience are certainly unquestionable. It is his deep caring and humanity that are his true attributes.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
